   I'm assuming it doesn't work in 0.17. Also, how quickly do they incapacitate compared to conventional weapons?

      it does now!
      they cause surrender much faster, and also cause the enemy to miss return fire faster, but intentionally don't cause unconsciousness as fast as a shotgun will.  this is so you can accept surrender.

   Mod may cause a game crash when clicking "Advanced Nutrition" in research tree, quick fix is disable mod complete research of affected tech tree then reinstall mod

      my guess is no since at least by the pictures posted it dose not show that it is contraband
