Actually, the Algol's Weapons (Azwel's W7) version does not work for me either.
Edit: After inspecting both files, it seems the "Algol's Weapons (Azwel's W7)" needs the assets from the original mod which was not included properly. Notice how one file size is much bigger than the other. Furthermore, if you want "Algol's Weapons (Azwel's W7)" to work, you need to use both weapon mods at the same time despite what is written in the mod's description to use only one.
Do you still have contact with the author who made the weapon addon. There seems to be issue with the transparencies on the weapon, making it difficult to see in-game.
You will need Vodkalibur. If you don't want to go through the hassle of using Custom Strings and equipping the outfits yourself, you can at least use a CAS card to just import the character and use it as it is.
Thanks. Just joined the server, and I'll start learning how to use the tool in my free time. The closest vanilla CAS item to Algol's chest piece is Yoshimitsu's Sword Demon chest piece, and it just bugs (the eyes and the weird shapes). So if this Vodkalibur will help me to import that item, I'm looking forward to it! Thanks for sharing!
Oh nice, thank you! About Vodkalibur, my windows defender is afraid of it. Is that just because of the directories it accesses, or is there something else? I checked on the Discord, but it seems there's no idiot-friendly answer there, so I don't really understand what I'm reading.

Not sure on the exact solution, seems to be some transparency issue but I dont see any glaring issues with the assets within the archive.
