   I assume this makes Kelvin and Virginia useless as they won't be able to get up there to fill fish, stick.... storage

   I think the Constructions.json is all that would be needed from the save if you just want the platform to appear in your world without interfering with your character data. However, it would also remove all your current construction projects and buildings and replace it with everything in the coded save file.

      Yup, you can do this, but you wont get the log storage, not sure what file that is in. If anyone knows, feel free to share.
