Wonderfull Work very ituitive and usefull and pleasant. Thank's a lot for this great mod.
I'm just sad and many many player will be like me you have mod directly the Aseembly.CSharp.dll so we could not use your mod with UB or other that use the normal mean to mod Assamblie-CSharp.dll Unity Mod Mangager by a DLL in a mod that go in Mod Folder in the game.
I'm Sad :'(
But else perfect work thank's a lot to share it with us :)
Hey ExA ! It actually works perfectly with UB. But I see your point for sure. UB should be very welcome to try to integrate this DLL and work into theirs. I believe epiko will be very happy about it.
Hi. yes i agree. I don't have the knowledge to do it. But actually my mod is in a very stable version. So i think for the UB developers can be something interesting.
Think that i did this Mod for my personal use (it is simply something that didn't existed before). than i thought it would be interesting also for other players so i decided to share it here.
He had to do this way in order to be able to pop wait for manual dice rolling in certain locations (forced IEnumerator usage). Indeed that would be impossible with harmony patches only.
Yes it's true. From what I was able to understand, the game first performs all the dice rolling required in an interaction and in parallel (after each result) triggers the dice animations (which are on separate threads / coroutines, cannot be slowed or paused and execute in parallel). So the only feasible approach is epiko's one: pop wait for manual dice rolling (every dice, from attack roll, to damage to any save required in the interaction) and then pop off. I don't think it would be possible with harmony patches (unless you copy whole methods or use Transpiler).
I'm only interested in manual dice rolling, so I moved the file to the appropriate folder of my GOG copy. Running with this installed launches Steam before failing due to "no licenses."
I don't think so. BG3 is not made in unity so modding the engine will be very complicated. I could try to translate my code into BG3 with the help of some skilled developer i guess.
Sure! When you play without the mod and engage in combat, at first it adds new enemies to the bestiary, and later when the combat is over there are survival rolls that expand the information. With the mod, the bestiary remains empty and the last rolls after the combat do not occur, so the bestiary is unusable.
Hi. Are you playing with the latest version of the mod? It's strange becasue to me the bestiary it's working (and also survival rolls at end of combat). It's strange also because my mod doesn't touch the bestiary module in any way.
Thanks for this mod. I have been playing it from its earlier version and it is a real great one ! I love to play with my own dice and not blame the RNG anymore hehe. More seriously, playing Solasta with your mod is the closest experience I have from playing tabletop DnD. Any game having turn based combat with d20 system should implement such an option for the players (I have actually convinced the dev from Archmage Rises to do so and they will implement such feature in their v 1.0)
Hi, thanks a lot for your message. Developing this mod took me almost two years. Hours and hours of dungeon delving inside the code. When i first started a lot of people told me that this was a terrible idea, but now that this mod exist i'm of the same exactly idea as yours. For d&d lovers, being able to roll real dice is a really deep and fascinating experience. My mod is not perfect and has a lot of features still missing (co-op multiplayer support for instance). For the game developers would be really simplier to implement this.

Agree with you, this mod makes the game a much more immersive experience.
Thanks!
I have detected another bug. It is in the bestiary, with this mod it not work properly.
With the mod, the bestiary remains empty and the last rolls after the combat do not occur, so the bestiary is unusable.
