Brother, it should be a problem with the original model itself. I have tried exporting PSK files from Umodel and Fmodel, but none of them can avoid joint deformation issues. The model needs to be modified before it can be used. Of course, I do not know how to modify it, so I used someone else's model (thank you to other authors) to export the PSK file. After importing, the model joints are normal. I hope it is helpful to you.
Hi dude, I ask in a modding Discord of this game what could you do to fix this elbow issue and this is the answer I got:
Most of the time you just need to delete all weights around the elbow besides 1 (the one colored differently)I haven't messed with Starshine specifically but that was the case for Enya Enigma's knees, Katya Dawning's Knees and Elbows
The new siris has an issue with the left shoulder, with that u need to transfer the weight from 1 bone to another
I checked again just to see if I could resolve it but the bones & weights looks alright, when it didn't, removing the weights didn't fix the issue. I feel like there's just something off with the blender plugins because even within the software the weights are odd even when they are perfectly good when exported to the game. That is also why this issue is almost impossible for me to fix, If I can't even get the model to animate just like it does in the game, I can't know whether something I did fixed it or not without exporting, cooking & then loading the game which takes an insane amount of time just to see if one fix attempt worked or not It might be better for people using other softwares but a license for 3ds is expensive as hell, there's no way I will ever purchase it and piracy is out of the question. 😕
Dude this is my most anticipated mod ever, such a shame that there's a bug but I have good news! This mod creator also had the same bug that you have right here, and he just fixed it today https://www.nexusmods.com/snowbreakcontainmentzone/mods/263
You could talk to him to fix your mod too, it was the same elbow bug
I tried fixing it but couldn't. It's not an editing mistake that I have done with the mesh, the weight just never get transferred properly and I have no idea how I can fix it..... This is annoying and I hope it will not look worse during gameplay. I have not had this issue with the other models I did and I repeated the process for this mod 4 times from scratch just in case.
If nobody can point me toward the good direction, there's might be nothing I can do :/
@Garettz You are only transferring weights and not touching them at all? Maybe if you'll trim that weights near that removed part/normalize[all] it will get better?..
I know that manual weighting is quite a challenge - but there were cases where I couldn't fix mod's bugs without manual painting(I tried to use Smear and Average and not paint with raw value from zero). Also there were two times when weights just couldn't line-up no matter how I tried. I looked at mesh and it looked ugly to me at one point(exactly like that - there's no "technical" way to find it because from technical point there's nothing wrong with the model). So I rotated that ugly edge to the opposite direction, Normalize[d] All - and that ugly curve gone.
It was quite a hard case, because from first glance it looked like outline problem, from second guess - as weigh problem, and only by intuition I got that it was actually imperfect mesh problem x_x
That said - that was not for UE but for Unity game, so nuances may vary... But if you absolutely sure your weights are perfect/you tried to re-weight manually/normalize all - then try to look on mesh grid[and turn it on on the Weighting tab for better view]
Yeah, Im making zero changes to the weights. I view the model from within UEViewer and it already shows that weight issue. I thought it was maybe because I missed a patched pak but I do have the latest.
When I look at the bones weight, they looks ok to me. But here's my main problem, if I load the animations within blender, they plays a little wrong. All of the joints are distorted (knees and elbows, way more than in-game), so I can't even try to fix the weight by trying to compare the animated pose result since they show wrong within blender. Im essentially stuck at trying to fix weight issue blindly and that's kind of impossible for me and my current skill level.
Right now I'm thinking that maybe the other mod authors uses the 3ds max and export directly to fbx or something like that. I'm not sure either why the issue has only appeared for this character so far. I didn't had issues with the other 3s.

Could you please also make a mod to remove 5* Yao bikini skin's outer shirt and headphone?
