Seeing as you've released plenty of mods on Nexus, I'm sure you understand that making mods takes time and sometimes it is easier to release multiple smaller projects than waiting until they are all finished. Certainly releasing an all-in-one is always nice at the end, but this way people get to at least see some of the retextures without waiting however long it will take to finish. At any rate, they did upload an all-in-one so no need to complain.
All I do is jokingly point out placing them in the proper folders seems easier than creating and then uploading a video to youtube, and you get defensive? I just thought it was amusing and was curious since that video and tutorial seems to be even MORE effort than setting up the folder structure. The other person calling you lazy while one is upset about them being separate files is a whole different story and is doing too much, that's just rude. But going 'it's taking a long time thanks to y'all' over a folder structure is... interesting.
Regardless, good luck with your retextures. They're really good, especially considering you're new to textures and such.
The reason why it isn't just a full up mod, is because for starters, my retextures are not finished, and whenever I'm finished making all of the sets, then I'll just have it setup as a full on replacer.
To be frank, that's just a bit lazy. This is just a simple texture-replacer not some complicated animation or quest mod with fifteen requirements, and should not require having to watch a needlessly (yes, we know how to download a mod from nexus) drawn out video on how to install. Especially if you say they are "not-finished" and want people to test them out for you. It is actually faster and easier to just go into the original mod by myself and look at the file-structure there than watching that video. I have never seen someone publish their textures in a "DDS"-folder without proper texture paths.
AlsoJusttopointitout, I'm working very hard on these retextures, and you don't understand that. And yet you still want to complain about the texture paths, instead of following a video guide showing you how to replace them in the proper order, plus in that guide, you're just replacing the textures in the Konahrik's Accoutrements mod. And the Dova Sonaak mod, so you don't have to add the textures as a slot in your mod manager, since it'll just replace the one's within the Konahrik's Accoutrements mod. I made it very simple to follow the guide, and I don't have time to make these texture paths and building a bundle for the mods until they're finished, since it's taking a very long time to retexture everything, thanks to y'all. I had to contact
PraedythXVI, to help me retexture these. Since I'm new on retexturing things, and so far I've done a very good job. AND HOPEFULLY, PraedythXVI helps me retexture these sets.
