Hi! I had an idea, as a third alternate form, why not using hermaeus mora model used in dragonborn dlc (mass of tentacles and eyes)? I know it's not a character but a stage effect, but somehow I managed to find the corresponding effects in creation kit, so I think that creating a character form based on those models is possible, but unfortunately I know little or nothing about binding mesh to skeleton and add physics. But that would be a great addiction to your mod :)
Absolutely fantastic, can tell you've put a lot of time and effort into it. All it needs is honestly a human form lesser power and a racecompatibility patch with Sacrosanct or other vampire mods.
For some reason the first person perspective is super high even on other races. No clue how to solve this
I have no plans on making a legendary edition of the mod as I only play on SE/AE, but if someone else wants to give it a shot they are more than welcome to!
I honestly have no idea on how to "back port" a mod as it's something I've never done. Maybe try to do a Google search on "back porting a Skyrim SE mod" Good luck! Let me know if you're able to do it. I'm sure others on Legendary Edition would benefit from it as well.
I love the idea of this mod, but I only play VR... Is there any surefire way to get this to work in VR? It would be so cool if I could get it to work for my playthrough :D
(I'll take anyones tips for how to make it work B))
I've never used VR myself so I wouldn't know anything on how to get it to work with it. Maybe someone else will know how to get it to work.. Good luck!
Huge fan of the mod concept, goes well with my boatload of magic mods Only thing is, is it possible to disable or toggle the fear aura or magic on unarmed? They're cool abilities, and lorewise it makes sense, but it kinda bogs down combat chasing down everyone Playing the console port, so I couldn't just make a personal patch for it
I have decided to do another update to add the "Influence: Fear" ability onto the "skins" (Woodland Man Form & True Form) as opposed to being a constant ability that isn't togglable. Give me a little bit of time to get it done. I am off of work the next three days so, hopefully, it will be during that time span. :-)
Edit: That time span may be a little longer than I first anticipated as I have also decided to upscale the vanilla textures of the Seekers & Lurkers as well as my edited High Seeker & Scrivener textures utilizing the same method that I used previously to upscale the "Woodland Man Robes" textures from their orginals.
Textures are all done for the PC & Xbox version. 2K for PC & 1K for Xbox for performance (I actually play on console. My laptop wouldn't run Skyrim efficiently even if it's life depended on it, haha. It's strictly for modding) Now I just have to make the needed changes/additions to the .esp file itself. I haven't fired up the ole Creation Kit yet since the last Skyrim update that just dropped a couple of days ago.. Hopefully all goes well when I do! I will most likely start tackling that starting tomorrow night & through the weekend.
Well, I'm currently reinstalling Skyrim SE, then the Creation Kit after that. I already unistalled & reinstalled Steam. The new update broke my Creation Kit setup & it wouldn't start. Good times..
EDIT: After unistalling & reinstalling everything to do with the base game of Skyrim & a little over 2 hours of tinkering with things, I finally have my mod loaded up into the Creation Kit so I can actually edit it & do some modding.. Hallelujah!
EDIT 2: Everything "should" be done now. I say "should" because I will be doing final ingame playtesting later on this evening to make sure everything works correctly/as intended before publishing the update.
EDIT 3: Everything works as intended &, the new textures look great! I will get the update out sometime today for both the PC & XB1 version. Thanks for your patience!
This mod is really cool im starting a new playthrough as the elderitch man herma mora. One issue i do have is The beam of knowledge spell that i currently dont remember the name of has this issue when you stop firing it the noise effects still continue and in my opinion it makes it unusable. Otherwise pretty cool mod.
The spell is Fatecarver I'm assuming? (green colored beam of pure knowledge that deals a ton of damage) I just tested it now, everything seems to be working as intended. Once fired, it shoots the beam for 4 seconds with the accompanying sound effect to go with it as it is shooting the beam. If you look in third person view, the beam is firing the whole time the sound effect is playing. This spell comes from Kittytail's "Abyssal Tides Magic" mod found at: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/97892 I integrated it into this mod as Kittytail has graciously given open permissions for their mod. :-)
Hey im sorry for such a late response but yeah it is fate carver. The issue is reminiscent of the bug when combat music never stop playing and overlapping. I'm not quite sure if you can replicate it and it's probably on my side because I do have a decent sized mod list. Just a side suggestion I personally would rather not be a floating orb and would like to have a "human version or transformation" but it's not to big of an issue. I will say the model you made is cool so I will not take from that.
A humanoid version is in the works that will feature both skin colors. It will be craftable at the Tanning Rack & will be equippable. Unfortunately, I ran into some texture issues ingame during testing last night that I haven't had an opportunity to try & resolve/tinker with yet. Hopefully I'll have a chance to try & figure it out over the next few days while I'm off of work.

But a follower with the mesh would really capture so much attention.

Thank you in advance :)
