    Thank you very much for the great work on porting/cleaning this! I wanted to ask a question about something I'm seeing in one of the textures (at a glance in the file I think it may be hd.dds). It was quite noticeable up north on the coast, but I spotted it once or twice in the tundra where I think the same texture may be used.

    See how the tip of the grass has a sort of "tail" sticking off the top? It appears and disappears as you approach and rotate the camera around the grass; you can tell better in the 2nd pic that it's not visible on every piece of that grass from the angle I'm looking.

    I figure it could be a mesh thing -- or perhaps a shader thing? I have Community Shaders + Grass Lighting installed, but not Grass Collisions. Just wanted to ask the author if this was expected!

    EDIT: just to be scientific I disabled Community Shaders, and the issue persisted -- still most noticeably on the coast between Solitude & Vokihar.

      Not sure about interactions with Doodlum's stuff, I use ENB or ReShade. I'm on mobile now but I'll have a look at your screens later. Thanks for the comment, don't forget to adjust the.ini according to your pc specs ;)

      Okay I went to that location in my game and the grass does the same with me.
      I have however no real way to correct this, as I merely ported and cleaned a grass mod made by HHaley.
      Beyond this specific issue that you reported, I didn't notice this glitch anywhere else yet, and I replaced Vanilla Grasses Reimagined with this and am using it right now in one of my playthroughs.
      Only thing I can say here is that if it bothers you, replace the texture with another 512x512px one for that area, sorry.

      Thank you for understanding. :) I was actually a bit bummed about the glitch since I've been loving this mod very much! I even use it with the .ini at 100 and like it much more than Vanilla Grasses Reimagined - I use it with Skyrim is Windy, which makes it more dynamic.

      Months later, but gonna put this here for future users & time travelers...I replaced the misbehaving texture (hb.dds) with the identical texture from Fantastic Grasses, and the problem went away immediately. So it may just be a problem with the particular .dds file used here!

      The texture in question is used in a few grass mashups, so you may have another copy of it laying around already. In Fantastic Grasses, for instance, it's named Mj_hb.dds, and it looks like this:

      


      I renamed it to match the naming in this mod, and it just worked.™ Hopefully this will be helpful to somebody else!

      I'm just gonna go ahead and say it: I tested out doggexbay's solution, but replacing the texture didn't fix its appearance.

      Yeah, it also surprised me that replacing the texture didn't have any effect apart from changing resolution from 512 to 1024.

    Thankyou for this, really like the grass mod, no fps loss for me and looks good , but somehow my grass is darker than the rest of vanilla clutter and somehow its bothering me, i'm using Community Shaders and Reshade + Azurite weather for visual enchance, is there something wrong with my setup or else?

      Grass is darker and doesn't have the additional normal Maps layer patch for use with ENB. I don't use Community Shaders so I can't help you there.

      oh okay , turns out it only noticeable in pine forest when the green slightly darker than the others, but otherwise it's nice i can use this grass on SE, thankyou again, kudos given.

      No, I asked for a patch but never got an answer. It's pretty light though

      I have a request to make (if possible) could you make it brighter without saturating it, because I put the bigger trees mod and in the shaded areas it looks too dark( if you could add it as optional would be great)

       I can message the Grass FPS Booster author, but if you scale the density, won't that adjust the performance here??

    Really cool and underrated grass mod. It looks beautiful with community shaders. Great job!

    Okay I wrote to authors of both complex grass patch compendium and Grass FPS booster.

    In the meantime adjust the .ini.
