Overhauls the appearance of Warden of the Coast's nine main followers using CotR assets.

Overhauls the appearance of TheBawb's Warden of the Coast's main companions (Sir Roland, Haden, Tia, Vigilant Katri, Bryyn, Tasius, Jade, Zavok, and the human/elven/orc variations of Iriel) using Charmers of the Reach assets. Additionally, their body textures are swapped for Fair Skin Complexion for UNP and Vitruvia. Body meshes are unchanged. There is also an alternate version for those using this 3BA/HIMBO/Loverboy/Reverie patch.

For Warden of the Coast version 1.7.5 (the latest version as of August 28th 2023)



Questions someone will probably ask in the future:


- I don't like this, I don't like that. Your replacer strays too much from vanilla, too uncanny-valley, etc etc. Don't use this mod then.

- No, but seriously why do the Orcs Look Like That. Where are their sharp teef my man. What have you done to Roland and Tasius' glorious beards. Why does Tia look like she came out of anime. Why am I even writing this. Let's unpack this one by one.

For Bryyn and Iriel's lack of tusks, it's CotR's limitations (it doesn't have any slider that makes making vanilla orc teeth for female toons viable, short of hacking their face sculpt in something like Blender). I made their teeth pointy to compensate. Roland and Tasius' facial hair gets chopped because I had trouble making CotR beards work for NPC replacer (this is probably just me not trying hard enough, to be perfectly honest). I actually tried painting thicker beard textures on their face textures initially, but the result isn't up to my liking so I went with the stubble. As for Tia... yea I wondered that too.

v 1.2 -- Thanks to CotR Overhaul, I'm now able to make Bryyn and Iriel with proper tusks! Some companion textures are also changed. I'm tired and I haven't been able to take screenshots of the new look, but they're still pretty similar to their old versions imo. Haden, Katri, and Jade's textures underwent the most changes. Tia's hair color now closely resembles her in the original mod. Iriel's hair colors are properly dusty brown (except Redguard!Iriel, it's still black).

- Compatible with Warden of the Coast 3BA/HIMBO patch? Yes, If you download option B and option B only. You'll still need to download that patch btw.

- Do I need to install CotR for this to work? No.

 - ESL-ified? Yes.

- Why didn't you include Khajiit and Argonian Iriels? I don't know how to tweak beast races, honestly.

- Can you expand this mod to include every single NPC from Warden of the Coast? No.

- Iriel doesn't look like my dragonborn! I want you to change her completely to look like she could be my dragonborn's sister!

- Any other inane, half-tired yammerings you want to add here? Nothing. I just hope I did the quest mod justice. One thing I noticed with Bioware games in general is how distinct each of the companions are, like you can generally tell who they are from their sillhouettes alone, and as someone who appreciates unique character design, I thought Warden of the Coast could do with something like that.

Don't get me wrong--I'm actually quite pleased with how the original characters look. Think of my mod as just an alternate take of what they could've looked like. Not better, just different. There are some things I'm not completely satisfied with (could've done better with Bryyn), but as a whole this  mod is in a state that I deem publishable, or at least "this'll do".

Technical details: Face and body textures saved with BC7 compression. Everything else saved with BC3.
Diffuse textures for eyes are standalone, the rest (normal, cubemap) use your installed textures. In my screenshots, I'm using BnP - Eye Overhaul.
Known issue: some ear-related clipping with hairs, and the aforementioned neck seam problem.
The followers are changed from default vanilla races to custom unplayable races to get the new headparts to work. Any mod that affects vanilla race records (Racial Body Morphs, etc) will no longer work for them. They still use the custom bodies provided by the original mod.
