Q: What weather mod should I use? A: This is entirely up to you. The preset is Universal and doesn't require a specific weather mod to function. For my recommendations, look on the modpage in the installation section. There will be non-universal versions tuned for specific weather mods in the future. So stay tuned.
Q: How to adjust brightness? A: Go to Color Grading > HDR and increase/decrease the Exposure.
Changelog for 1.4:
Rebalance of sky/cloud brightness and light levels (ambient, direct and cloud shadows)
Reduced "aggressiveness" of adaptation
Improved character rendering (skin specularity and eye reflections)
Added complex particle light shadows
Added ENB volumetric rays
Various smaller tweaks to water, wet surfaces and snow
Added more controls to cinematic borders. They can now also be rendered behind objects
AGIS shader now behaves as expected when disabled
Added second, missing dithering stage
Added new lightweight patch that makes this already performance friendly preset even faster. It manages to shave off around a quarter of the performance cost of the original at the expense of some eye candy

I can't get my ENB settings to save after I re-launch the game, it just keeps going back to the default preset every time, tested other ENB presets too and they're doing the same thing. Does anyone know what's causing this?
Came here for Cabbage ENBs most recent version. This mod was a requirement. SO, I follow the installation instructions. I install Kiloader, I install Extended ENB for Skyrim, I also have ENB Worldspace Weatherlists installed. Everything is up to date. Everything was installed correctly, added the proper files to the skyrim root whatever etc. When I launch Skyrim from MO2 my game crashes almost instantly. I can't understand the crashlogs AT ALL.
Im pulling my hair out trying to fix this, if anyone can help that would be great. Or just tell me how I can uninstall this mod from my game that would be great to, I'll just use a earlier version of cabbage enb if it means I can finally play my game again.
Uninstall ENB Worldspace Weatherlists until it gets its next update, that should fix your problem. That being said, this is a standalone ENB preset. If you're installing another ENB preset that relies on my shaders, you're supposed to use the Shader Core instead of this
Cabbage ENB said in its requirements I needed Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core , but you are telling me I need the Shader Core instead correct? I don't mean to parrot what you have already told me, just making sure I'm not confused on this
Hi I've update my preset to 1.4 and update KiLoader to 1.2 but for some reason when I try to launch the game I get a plugin error that says: The following plugins couldn't be loaded or aren't compatible with the current executable: 'KiENBExtender.dll' - Import dependencies missing from: KiLoader.dll.
Idk why but for some reason this is turning my fire spell in my hand into an almost white no details blob, then when i USE the spell the whole area gets pitch black besides the stream of fire.. uninstalled this and reinstalled the enb files, it went back to normal looking fire, then reinstalled this and it was back to awful. what can i change to fix it? i have embers hd but reinstalling it didnt do anything. id love to use this, its very pretty otherwise.
oh im using lux for lighting, i guess ill see if thats having some effect on it.
That sounds weird. Could you possibly join the discord server so I could try to help you there? Otherwise I'd make sure that all the requirements were installed correctly. Lux definitely is not at fault here.
*Just in case anyone else ran into this issue - I fixed it but it was kind of a careless mistake on my part, and the new Cabbage ENB instructions are worded unclearly and it took a long time for me to figure out what I did wrong so hopefully noone else makes the same mistake.
This ZIP file has a folder in it called "Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core-99398-1-4-1713389513" - Do not extract that folder into your Skyrim root directly as the Cabbage ENB instructions indicate - Copy the CONTENTS of that folder into your Skyrim root without that folder itself
Dumb mistake I admit, but it took me many hours to figure out what I did wrong, and the Cabbage ENB instructions says "Extract Silent Horizons 2 - Universal Core content to Skyrim root folder" <- do not do this, extract it somewhere else and copy the contents of the folder into the skyrim root directory.
@Frolique The new Cabbage update works off of SH2 now so, you will be seeing a lot of Cabbage users here trying to understand the proper installation procedure. I for one and still having a big rain drops issue even after being aware of Baxter5's information.
A bit late but you're not wrong, it's just that any ENB preset (including the most performance friendly), is quite heavy and will take you several FPS away. As others have said, you might try deactivating Ambient Oclussion and Depth of Field in order to reduce the impact the ENB has.
