Do NOT use this mod. It will break your game. It makes necessary quest items disappear from the world and completely ruins quests. Luckily if you do run into this problem, you can uninstall it and things will be fixed when you reload your save.
Mod works fine for me. . Books are listed as weighing 0. His issues have to do with his own game, his mods and how his game is set up between mods. I'm personally not using book covers if that helps anyone.
Looks like the problem is with book cover. I have King Olaf's Verse missing in my game but it reappears after I remove the book cover mod while leaving the weightless book mod in

I can't believe it took me this long to find this mod in all my years of playing skyrim. One of my favorite things about this game, and the series in general, are the books. The lore and stories the can be found in them are very enlightening reprieves from questing adventures. The only problem being I couldn't carry them all around. But not anymore. Thank you so much for this, I was counting down the minutes post about happy I am with this being an addition to mod library,
Be careful when using this mod. It changes books and notes to form 43 while SE uses 44. It makes a lot of quest item such as notes and books disappear, making it literally a nightmare to proceed quests. I had to setstage for many quests but even with setstage a main questline completely bugged out. So I had to find out what's causing it, SSEEdit points to this mod. I don't know how to convert form 43 to 44 (is it a mesh? or esp?), maybe that'll solve the issue. but I was lazy so I simply disabled it for now and was able to get quest items now. yay!
So does "King Olaf's Verse," (Tending the Flames) and presumably the note you pick up when going to get the horn of Jurgen Windcaller. Ah well, will have to manage my compulsive book-hoarding for now.

I have added this mod to the Not Compatible section of Book Covers Skyrim until this mod is updated. Weightless Overhaul is compatible and offers similar effects as this one.
