Thank you a lot for taking over Drop on Death from me! I wish you the best with it. If anyone has any questions or issues feel free to hit me up or Nightfallstorm himself.
Unable to get this Mod to work with my LO. Not sure if it's conflicting with magevr (i don't intend to use the backpack) or if it's just not working anymore?
I love this mod, but for some reason the game would crash when picking up items, and what annoys me is how random it is. Game will crash when trying to pick up lockpicks, septims, sometimes food items,, but upon loading the save after crash and picking up the same item the game does not crash.. I'm sad I can't use this mod without a random crash happening.
So I love the mod, but I'm having issues with it and Apocalypse. Pale Shadow and some other summons are dropping thier items... I'm curious if anyone has a fix for this?
FYI, edit the ini with -S in the 5th SPID position to prevent summons from dropping loot. eg. Perk = 0x73A0~DropOnDeath.esp|ActorTypeNPC|NONE|NONE|-S|NONE|100 Add to all lines.
Might be fun to have options to drop even equipped items as well as make all creatures drop their loot (with your victims becoming undressed as a fun side effect)
EDIT: I forgot you can pull people's clothes off with HIGGS already. Not sure if it also works with things like equipped weapons or arrows, but if that were the case then you wouldn't need to open the loot menu at all
- if you want , got quick loot! dont need to open the loot menu you have it witthout pausing the game but yeah you can let them drop weapons and grab with equipped arrow with higgs
Hello. I added you on discord as I'm hoping you can help me with this script overload problem. I'll include details here, but if it's not obvious what the problem is you could accept my discord request and I can test out more fixes in more detail.
I'm occasionally being sent into the SteamVR environment for 30 seconds while some scripts in my game explode.
I've 'opened' up a few "Saves" and "Quicksaves" with ReSaver (a skyrim debug tool) and it shows MANY scripts labeled, "onmoeffectmarkerscript.OnUpdate(***ID***)" I assume "onmo" is the original mod creator's tag short for Onmogeloos.
When 'opening' a "Quicksave" made during one of these "script overloads", these scripts litter both the "Active Scripts", and the "Suspended Stacks" sections in ReSaver.
However 'opening' a normal and proper "Save", made while chilling almost anywhere, still shows hundreds of these "onmoeffectmarkerscript.OnUpdate(***ID***)"
I'm pretty confident the cause of these scripts piling up is too many dropped items which never de-spawned. My Skyrim VR FUS installation is over 1 year old now, so I'm using the previous Nexus page version of this mod "Drop on Death - SE - VR". This issue has only started happening in the last few months. Probably too many items.
In Drop on Death's MCM, in the Advanced section, I've tried using the "Manual Despawn" button. That doesn't seem to stop freezing. I've also tried "Remove Scripts" which doesn't seem to solve the problem either. The onmoeffectmarkerscripts are still running according to ReSaver. I've used the "Remove visual effects on items" option. That works to remove the visual effects of items that have recently dropped near me, but fails to remove the scripts from the background. Lastly I've tried the "Debug mode" option, but I couldn't find a log file or anything.
I've been trying to solve this on my own and with some FUS support members for quite some time. Any help you can give is appreciated. Cheers!
Kinda funny but I noticed that modded and vanilla summons will drop stuff on death, so Fire Atronachs you summon will drop fire salts, and skeletons (from Mysticism) summoned will drop their swords. I have no idea if its from this mod or another mod that is causing it.

- Potential fix for effect markers persisting in save and update your SPID mod also
