    Need some help here..

Running R's windmill ONLY and ran through DynDOLOd.

I end up with a windmill but no sails.

Do I need to be running another mod like skyrmills/skyfalls or what?

    Thanks

Late reply... you need a dyndolod patch:

Is there any way to add cloth to the sails.

I like these larger sails quite a lot.  But I also like them to have cloth on them.  I am drawing a blank on how to change these to have the cloth like I get when this mod is disabled.  Is it asking too much to add that as an option?

lovely idea but the non dyndolod version clips and the fix is now hidden, so this mod is redundent

Is it normal for the Windmill in Solitude, near the stables to have two rotating sails that constantly clip? Or did I miss some requirements?

I had this issue, when up close I get double sails... further away they be okay.

I place it down to either Dyndolod or may have been SMIM's own Meshes getting in the way as well as I recall hiding them in MO to stop the problem.

      * UPDATE

Actually ironically I just started a new game and walked from one cell to the farm windmill outside Solitude. Low and behold double sails !

I then saved reloaded and they went back to single sails. So strangely if you walk from one cell distance to this windmill, double sails get placed. If you load straight into the cell facing the windmill they will be back to single sails and correct.

      WHY this happens NO IDEA.

I just noticed that the windmill at Katla's farm, right outside Solitude, clips through their house. LOL  As the sails spin, they clip through the side wall and roof of Katla's house.

It's like the mill needs to rotate a few degrees to clear the house. I don't think I've installed anything that modifies the house, so does anybody else have this problem? If so, what was the solution?

Derp edit: Never mind...I just read the description page for the link to fix this.

Solitude windmill is still Vanilla. "swindmill.nif" Is there a way to add Renthal's rotor to that nif file ?

    I'd use SMIM's ""swindmill.nif"", delete the vanilla rotor and add Renthal's rotor. BUT, I don't know how !! x)

So... It looks great and all that, but to be able to actually move, it would need canvas, y´know, to catch the wind... Otherwise it looks great!

As I told you on the other mod you said the same thing at : Windmills do not need sails to operate, only if there is little wind.
