Is it possible that something from the 1.6.1170 update is messing with how this mod functions? Ever since I've updated I keep seeing this lovely model in the menu as long as the game's loading - once loading finishes, it's switched to default 'gold' Bethesda crap model. Damn shame!
Haven't done a real progress with this issue but I can clarify at a least little:
Used along with the Brumbek's Main Menu Spinning Skyrim Emblem mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/725/ ) I've managed to get a coherrent symbol visual throughout the user interface - I see Brumbek's steel mesh spinning in main menu when starting the game and yours (with that pretty water-like green-ish reflection) in random loading screens when loading a save.
However what I wrote above unfortunately applies - without brumbek's mesh, your model in main menu gets overriden by vanilla one once the loading finishes. No idea why. I use no other replacers for this mesh although I run a few mods modifying the main menu (Bethesda crap removers). Maybe it's their fault.
The main Menu logo is (hopefully) the first thing you ever see when you run Skyrim, so improvements are always welcome. An alternative gold diffuse texture option would be appreciated. I could even cobble one together in Photoshop by colorizing the diffuse. However, one would need permission to share.

But of course I can open permissions on this if anyone can do it better :)
