I uploaded a mod that does this, and is made for SSE. Form 44, Flagged ESL. I also used a different way in the script besides the GetForm function that is in this one, so it will still work even if using a lot of plugins.
Thanks for this. Been playing Skyrim long enough to know what ingredients to pick, or so i thought. Now i have a farm that grows all the plants needed for potions and poisons. Thanks again.
Mod Organizer 2 says "Form 43 (or lower) plugins are modules that were made for Skyrim LE (Oldrim) and have not been properly ported to Skyrim Special Edition, which uses form 44 plugins. This usually results in parts of the mod not working correctly."
If this mod works, perhaps the difference doesn't affect it but Vortex notices this so does not install it? One of the map mods did this too but someone posted an updated version in the comments.
FYI to anyone also using "Alchemists Journal": load "Alchemists Journal" before "Learn all ingredient effects" (for example: learn effects should be 30 in priority of plugins, alchemists journal should be 31 or higher).
Otherwise, after you craft the item at the forge that makes you learn all effects, and try to open the alchemists journal, it will CTD. (here is the other mod I'm talking about https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/28273?tab=description )
Why are the effects of an ingredient numbered? Changing the order of the ingredients in a recipe doesn't change the result? At least as far as I can tell. For instance, Fortify Marksman has no #1 ingredient. Fortify Smithing has no #1 or #2 .
