Example: CombatNormal tracks will go into the ANY folder. Data\Music\00DCS\ALL\ANY
CombatBoss tracks will go into the COMBATBOSS folder Data\Music\00DCS\ALL\ANY\CombatBoss
CombatXXBoss tracks will go into the COMBATBOSS folder Data\Music\00DCS\ALL\ANY\CombatBossXXEnd
You might want to change this, ANY is Skyrim & Solstheim specifically, it won't function in new lands such as Bruma, Arnima, ect, you would want to use ANY PROVINCE instead which is used for Skyrim AND new lands, also CombatDragon for generic dragons is only found in ANY PROVINCE, CombatBoss is not for dragons nor is it for unique named boss enemies such as Jyrik, Tsun, Ancano, and many more, instead it's used for generic boss enemies given a specific keyword tag through the optional keyword distribution plugins, those would be bandit chiefs, spriggan matrons, generic warlock bosses, and various other generics.
Q: What are 'Stingers'? A: DCS does explain this but they are small sound bits for brief 'special' events like finding dungeons, dying, word walls and the like. This category, much like some others, are optional and this is why I placed it at the end because there's a fair few
I can't stress this enough, the music type that uses these are flagged as Once Only, all of the available tracks are music track records which exist in the main plugins and are always active whether you have them populated or not, for normal categories it will just keep selecting music track records randomly until it lands on one it can play which is usually pretty quick even with almost nothing filled in.
HOWEVER the Once Only flag on the stinger music types means it will only use 1 music track record whether it has a file or not, it won't make a second attempt so if you want to use these you need to have ALL of them filled in, duplicates if needed, even removing the excess music track records from the music type in the plugin to fit what you need would be a good idea.
Q: 'Search' tracks? A: Believe it's when you're, well, being searched for and combat has died down.
Yes, it's an in-between normal explore and combat, for the duration of imminent combat these are allowed to play, they replace the regular explore, think Metal Gear Solid caution and evasion situations, however they are just conditioned explore tracks and there's no way to end them immediately, they will have to play for their duration so I'd recommend short 1 min songs, you can also interrupt and force a reset by going into the skills menu or simply entering an area that causes the music type to change, you can also leave these tracks blank to have dramatic silence during imminent combat situations, again it's a conditioned explore track so it won't change on it's own, it gets queued up for after the current explore song ends.
Thanks. I'll add this to the main page and/or pin it later.
As for the combat stuff, have to have another look. I thought if you had no music in these unique folders they'd end up defaulting to another category, is this true and which one? Especially the boss one. I ended up trying to decide between any boss's track category of combatnormal and combatboss, ended up with combatboss as I knew this one definitely ran in most cases, or so I thought.
Ultimately it does mostly come down to which config is being used, as simple is trying to avoid renaming and shifting of folders. Complete, you're likely going to be doing this anyway if you're committing to it but it's trying to work out which ones would be worth it.
It all depends on if any and which of the keyword distribution plugins are in use, without them only normal, brawl, dragon, and a few of the unique boss categories that used a new special music type in vanilla already function (Harkon, Karstaag, Miraak, and Umbra).
CombatBrawl is looking for specific quest variables to be true instead of keywords so it's always enabled, for all rules types the unique boss categories need to be used as well, at least those dlc bosses that have their own music type already.

Also, I try to run the software but I keep getting the error java.nio.file.nosuchfileexception while he was trying to found CombatNormalXXEnd
