I just checked in xEdit and it seems that the cell in LUX patch has a different formID compared to the original .esp. Is this intentional?

  When I remade the JK patch, I must of forgot to updater the Lux patch to account for a few new formIDs. I'll remake the patch. Sorry

Very nice! Wonderfully well done. Could you add an option to lock stairs in place going down to work area, so it doesn't retract when cell resets? Thank you for sharing this

  It's a security measure :) that and I haven't quite nailed how to fully operate those stairs LOL!
