As the sticky post goes i have to say here something xD

Finally managed to finish all presets so VW, Dolomite, and CoT are now done.
I will come back at those presets, especially VW version since it uses alot of ambient light etc which is not so great for screenshots, well at least for characters.

Propably in the future will make also presets for Rustic weathers, and maybe for some other weather mods.

But now for some time I'm gonna work on my own ENB and Reshade made specially for it, gonna be alot of work though, so I don't know how much time I'll have to spare for RealShade, but if you have ANY problem with ANY preset come at me and I'll take a look at it

      Hi,

and which version of reshare you are using ?
Tried to download new one from reshade.me and reinstall ?

Also the whole thing is about MXAO.fx shader so you can just try replace that file only as well xD

Wow this Reshade looks perfect for me! However, I do like the 1.0 compared to the 1.1. I like the darker look. Is it okay to download the 1.0 version or should I not? If it's not supported anymore, by all means I will download the latest versions with no questions asked. This is my first time installing ENB's and reshades. I'm on a STRIX 1060 6gb btw. Looks good deruzejaku

Hi, it's fine to install 1.0 on 1060 no problem.
Also all plugins can get support so if you get any problem with it let me know, and i'll fix it

Btw glad to see you like it

Damn, I was still testing 1.0, but 1.1 seems to have worked out most of what I thought wasnt "quite there", gonna start again with 1.1, hehehehe

But definetly keep 1.0 around, since not all weather mods play nice with some ENBs ! A lot of them end up overly bright and washed up.

I see you also have a version for Sin, have you checked Phoenix's too? Its a pretty nice one for Dolomite, definetly worth trying out (I ended up making a custom Dolo with Vivid touches for personal use and both Rudy and Phoenix were my favorites for it). It does have a reshade, but I'm thinking your spin on it would make a very solid option.

Edit: Phoenix ENB does have a non Reshade version too, forgot about that .-.

Glad you like my reshade ^^, i am gonna also make something in between 1.0 and 1.1 as well i think as Vivid Weathers have so many weathers it's hard to match them all with just 1 reshade xD

Anyway once that you told me I'll check out pheonix too (I did have a glance in a past as it have own reshade, but it wasn't quite there for me), so you can expect that I'll make RealShade work with it too.

Also since the 1'st post is yours, after i finish with Vivid Weathers, next will be Dolomite, I alreagy thougth about this weather mod and seems to be a very good base as it have avesome sky just as it is, it might be hard to make proper collour correction though for the rest of it so it don't become too saturated.
So i guess Dolomite will be out in the coming week I will make also a standalone version for it, along with major ENB's

Awesome ! I've had some success using Lightroom by Marty McFly for those kind of corrections to saturation/black/white in Reshade and then cropping everything "lutable" to a single LUT at the end. Lovely feature that LUT creator, and Lightroom by itself is a pretty f'n powerful tool.

Dolomite has been my go-to weather since its lighting approach is more to my taste, enough for me to drop most ENBs and just tweak it at the source, hehehe... but I do use many of Vivid Weathers' features in a patch that I can't play without

While searching for a favorite weather-mod+ENB I ended up brewing one with TS, NAT and VW touches with Dolomite as a base, and in the process ported some ENB tweaks to it, since its features are so basic for now might as well make that math just once That being said, when I'm using any ENB its Phoenix for now

Looking forward to more of your work !

Well I am working on dolomite right now, but cant tweak it that much.

Why i love sky tex, and it's most bright weather mod, and also clean, still
it have way to much diference in saturation during day and different weathers so standalone version propably won't get much color correction. Also contract is so high because of lighting it's hard to avoid crushed blacks xD

But!!! I'll deal with it xD

Great to see that Dolo version is out ! I just started rebuilding my graphic mod load and will soon check it out !

If you end up liking Dolomite, you could use the Phoenix ENB Only preset for it, wich would give some handy control (Ultimate Immersion made a video featuring Phoenix + Dolomite, pretty good combo to start out too)

Alternatively (my prefered method) you could do a *very* simple tweak to get whatever headroom you need in the sun exposure there: on SSEEdit copy the few DAY Image Spaces it uses into a new file and in there reduce about 10 to 20 % of the Sunlight Scale parameter (around 2.1 is more than enough), since that is the culprit for the overexposed surfaces !

I actualy found that out while making a bot of an addon with VW effects (Distant Rain and the like) and TS sounds and rain for it, makes for a solid weather combo. Throw in Lightning During Storms and its golden !

      Cheers !

Well I kind of started to like Dolo xD
Had preety hard time tweaking it at first but I decided ima just play with it for a while to understand better how it works, used various different effects, so it uses bit different effects than VW presets.

Also I like the idea of yours to tweak Dolo day settings, so i'll try on that xD

Edit: About Pheonix ENB xD I had some time this morning and managed to Tweak RealShade for that it actually wasn't far off from Standalone version xD Hope you will check this out as I'm kind of proud from how it looks like right now XD

I'll be sure to do that today ! Since I already know the direction I'm going will be somewhere close to a slightly desaturated and colder Phoenix as I tweak Dolomite (later on after rebuilding my textures), might as well do that texture work with a RealShaded Phoenix on

Will post some screens after I've dealt with that and LOD's in DynDoLOD

Edit: The idea I want to reach is having a cold, wet and humid Skyrim (will be playing Frostfall after all), but even more I want it to have a daylight I'm drawn to !

And actualy, I've chosen Dolo becose of the way it works that Sunlight Scale and by not having a bazillion different weathers makes it easier to tweak than VW. While I like the atmosphere of VW very very much, I think it'll be easier to have both by having Dolo as the starting point. And I kinda like its sunsets and sunrises a little more.

Well tru dat VW have bazillion weathers, and it tends to bug a bit xD Had lots situations I could not get a comfortable weather untill i reinstalled, so it's pretty funny xD

Also, for really cold skyrim I would need to apply a bit colour correction as optional option xD That plus winter overhaul, and frostfall, would give cold feeling of true winter. I just wonder how winter overhaul would deal with distant terrain, it would be strange if it doesn't have it xD

Would look at some decent screenshots with pleasure

I should have something screen-presentable in a few days, been dicking around with Dolo's standard, Reach and tundra clear weathers and Imagespaces to imprint a kinda of Phoenixy/ReEngageddy feel (Higher sky scale, saturation and contrast, lower Sunlight Scale and brightness, mostly. Color balance will take a different turn, however), and am pretty happy with the result.

No general treatment so every weather and time of day gets respected, fog and cloud effects from VW, negligible aesthetic difference but without the 10fps hit. Excess performance put to use as longer shadow draw distance and quality.

The rest is being done by Reshade (gaussian/depth blur, a little sharpening, ambient light, a very soft bloom, everything color condensed into a LUT...) pretty performance friendly, thank the Maker.

Your ReEngaged preset paired well with the .esp tweaks

Well I do look up for what you will come up with xD

Maybe you could share dolomite tweaks with others i bet soem people will find this usefull.

btw inspired by LUT word i was planning on trying to use it, but...... but i have failed, so it seems i have few things to work on, as it would save some performance, for me it start invert colours at some point when i tried some LUTs, i guess i do it wrong.

So for now i'll stick to my usual methods for colour correction, but once I'm able to use LUT i guess I will do so xD

Sorry for the delay, got lost somewhere around Markarth D=

I'm redoing the whole shabang on those tweaks after spending a few days on ported/tweaked NLA and NAT and finding that there is a lot I'd like to learn on DALC (the directonal ambient lighting at the end of each weather, will help a LOT in not crushing shadows with contrast curves), but will ask in advance for permissions to share a simpler tweak in patch form, covering select ImageSpaces I think you'll find of use (sunrise/day/sunset mostly) to control those overbright spots

The objective of the patch would be simple, just tone down a little the contrast while upping sky and direct sunlight a little to compensate.

This should give you back some control over shadows and highlights, and if I'm able to share the weather tweaks later on those will be more comprehensive but not really needed.

I see both of us have a bit of work ahead xD
Tweaking weathers seem like preety much work so yea it'll sure take a while.

When we're at it I am currently working on ENB as a different approach, and it seems that it's 10x more work to do than reshade xD
For now only using D.N.I for it aaaaaand, I must say ENB really give you alot of control when it comes to light sources,
so I managed to get rid of crushed blacks from CoT, and soon will also start some tests with Dolo.

With all that told I dunno when I'll be able to complete ENB preset, also for now it's only D.N.I so there might be more shaders when I finish with this, and since I'm too much of a noob when it somes to coding right now i'd have to rely on ready shaders, so pretty much all credits to shader creators xD

Check this video by Marty, shows how to use his Lightroom shader for Reshade, very easy to create your own LUT from whatever is tweaking colors and contrast in your Reshade:

You'll have to pull Lightroom above any other shaders you want to affect the color pallete it creates for that LUT !!! So the chain of FX goes: Lightroom(puts the pallete in the screen and tweaks it)>LiftGammaGain>Curves>Tonemap>Colourfulness>Vibrance (I think DPX too)

Nothing like Bloom, Depth effects, dynamic stuff like FilmGrain or Sharpenings, anything that will blur or twist the pixel mapping better stay out

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSNtHrelDeM

You'll take a screenshot after tweaking the LUT and shrink the border of the image in paint or whatever you have until it is only the color map you made (usualy 16 squares of 16x16 pixels, I think that is the default for the Reshade shader). Save the image as .png and switch it with the one that comes with the Reshade.

On the Reshade interface you can change how much of the contrast and colours each are applied, from 0% to 100%

Well to be honest i saw that YT mov right after you mentioned lut xD

The only downloadable thing i have found is a Master Effect which apparently doesn't work for me xD Probably I did miss something but didn't troubleshoot as even with ready to go so called neutral lut i had slight color inversion even at low effect strength, same was even when using lut I could find in different reshade from mine

Well anyway if you manage to have some spare time to talk on priv lemme know, so maybe we will come to conclusion what I have been doing wrong with it perhaps xD

Well last screens were added from various Reshades for dolomite, be it standalone or ENB presets since I am still working on those.

True that i should give some more screens of various presets and I will add those in the image section, didn't do it so far as i should delete some pics first and then add corresponding pictures with caption so you would know which screen shows which preset xD But now wrote it down I think i should do it sooner than later

Also I'll change download section so there will be like 4 main files for every weather mod, and inside Standalone presets, and presets for correspomding ENBs.

Anyway, if you have some suggestions I am allways happy with feedback.
Questions Requests ? Bring it on xD

RealShade No ENB Version how much it costs in fps?

It is kind of light preset as a reshade so FPS cost is preety low 1-10 FPS max using my machine with R9 290 in it, but it may vary while you have different PC build, let me know what stuff you have inside and i'll try estimajte it for you. You can also see for yourself, just press Shift +F2,
switch to settings tab of reshade and tick the show fps option, and set let's say Shift + F1 keys to togle effects on/off, then in-game, you can switch it to see how it is performing on your machine.

Why 1-10 ? Well most reshades will tell you it's 0 or 2-3 FPS but it varies on many conditions, you can expect some dips in FPS when you have alot objects on the screen and many light sourcess.

Only cost performance option in here is Ambient light, you can close it to save some FPS but you will lose some quality is Reshade

It could be little harder on your build than on mine, but if you didn't get overboard with mods then you are preety safe to use it with similar drop, so in most cases you won't notice the difference at all.

Anyway about Rustic weather, you can try out with Vivid Weather preset as this is as close at it could be to Rustic Weathers, colours look about same saturation, and it gives kind of same clear look, I will also ckeck if tht works when I'm home, because it wasn't rly tweaked to work with it yet.

      Hi,
ENB settings should not affect ability to turn on and off reshade.
When you press Shift + F2 you should see Reshade console, and on top of the window you should get information if effects are disabled, if they are just enable and we're home.
If they are active check if you have chosen my preset in the drop down window, also one of first effects you should see with checkbox checked is ambient light.

Let me know how did it go for you, and also whate preset are you using, i'm not home but i'll be able to check the ini file.
