Thanks a ton for this - after looking at the differences between your mod and the other one like it, this is significantly better for compatibility. I was a little worried after looking at the other one that I'd have to make my own implementation haha. Great work!
That should be fine, you just might not see some of the outfit changes (and you'll need to wait for cells to refresh before bandits will start wearing the new armor).
"you will almost certainly need some kind of automated leveled list patcher" Could you please explain this line? Do you mean bashed patch or something else? I see that "auto LL patcher" thing is needed to add items to LL, but I believe it's for items that you can only obtain via crafting. Though your mod adds items directly to characters, so I can loot them from bandits etc. Am I wrong? What I need patcher for?
The distribution is static, I'm just using SPID to avoid having to edit any NPC records and risk incompatibilities as well as make it easier for end users to tweak to their liking.
I don't use any other patches for Fashions, personally.

Can we install this and original mod mid save?

Also, there are a few patches for Fashions on Nexus besides the one you referred to. Any in particular you recommend?
