I get 2 gildergreens, one on top of the other, but one of them is like 3 feet higher up so it looks really weird. Any idea what causes this? No issues with your other tree mods. AFAIK this is my only Gildergreen mod.
its fixed. I think I fixed it by going back to an earlier save, testing different tree replacers must have duplicated the tree on that save file

Also I have a question - do you think it will work with Gildergreen Regrown mod? That makes the sapling grow back to the full tree after some time in game?
They can break off, though. It would make sense that some of the old, dead branches broke off or had to be cut to avoid further damaging the whole of the tree.
I agree on that but the new young tree may be pruned to grow correctly like the Bonsai tree or others. Now how it would be viewed by followers is another story.
I agree with CatOfEvilGenius. Nettlebane is the only weapon old enough to cut through the bark of the Eldergleam Tree, since the tree is older than the existence of metal itself, and thus is unharmed by any other weapons. There is simply no way to break or cut off a branch.

Same question about Gildergreen Regrown.
One observation. The Gildergreen would not have cut off branches. That would be sacriligeous.
How long does it take for my saplings to grow into big trees?or i need other mod?
