Now you have to become a bard before you can... well, become a bard! (Must have the "Become a Bard" mod, but now you have to complete the "Tending the Flames" quest at the Bard's College, and be proclaimed a bard, before you can actually start performing! (esl flagged option) Enjoy.

I've had it this way on my game forever. It just fits perfectly and makes so much more sense. Figured I should share.
I don't THINK there should be a problem installing mid game, but not 100% sure. Feedback will be appreciated.

Question - Does this alter the "Tending the Flames" quest?
Answer - It does not alter how that quest works if that's what you are asking. What this mod does is alter how the "Become a Bard" mod works, by requiring you to complete the "Tending the Flames" quest before you can actually start performing as a bard.
If you are asking whether my mod touches the quest record for Tending the Flames then the answer is YES, because I changed the language at the conclusion from...
"I have been inducted into the Bard's College in Solitude."
To...
"I have been inducted into the Bard's College in Solitude. I am now able to perform music in Skyrim!"
(I also carried over USSEP fixes on said record)
