I love the way the DynDOLOD Fake light enhances the distant views, it makes the night landscapes so beautiful. Unfortunately, all too often, fake light bulbs don't disappear when they should.
As I don't want to disable FxGlow for all lights, I've created this little mod to do the job. It is quite simple:
I use Base Object Swapper to replace the guilty light bulb with an empty mesh.
I'm going to update this mod with the bug reports from Lexy's Legacy of the Dragonborn: Special Edition. You can use this mod if you don't use the list, I'm fairly confident that the bug reported here will be present for everybody.
Consider this as a temporary solution or a way of selectively disabling an effect you don't like. I'd advise you to report the problem directly to Sheson for permanent resolution, follow these instructions to take screenshots.
The light plugin contains only one record, it can't conflicts with anything. I've included a few examples so you can add your own selection / buggy lights easily.
How to add a bulb ?
It is easier if you use More Informative Console.
- Select the guilty light bulb
- note its EditorID (see example below)
- Then open the ini provided with this mod

To remove it every where:
