Good afternoon. It's about Alternate Perspective - Alternate Start. I don't know if a patch could be created since many of us who use Skyrim in a language other than English cannot see the menu when we talk to the messenger (dragon). The menu will not appear unless you have the game in English... Being Spanish is an inconvenience, as is any other language other than English. It is a rare error but apparently it can be corrected if the source script is modified, I don't know if a patch could do it. I have tried but I can't find a solution.

It's a second version of the little dragon. If you go to the basement pickpocket any locked door in your way and go up the well, you will end up behind the inn. Sitting on the mountainside will be a little dragon which will allow you to skip Helgen keep or skip all the way to the Way of the Voice quest. (it's possible you need to buy the best room in the inn first. I found him after doing that but I'm not sure whether it's required.)
Hello Jay, I hope some day you would consider gracing us by taking a look at the absolute mess that is the "Blood on the ice" quest in Windhelm. I think it could really benefit from your expertise!
Not a changelog thing, but an important clarification: You CAN start the vanilla intro with Alternate Perspective. Cart ride included and the whole shebang. I've seen a lot of people lately say otherwise and recommend other alternate start mods because of this. Well, the option is there and it works flawlessly. Or as flawlessly as the usual vanilla intro lol.
I wish I had known that months ago, as someone that usually picks the vanilla into. My brother recommended Alternate Perspective to me multiple times over the last few years, but I'd only bothered trying it out once, didn't stick with it as I didn't want to deal with any issues that that arose from removing something as foundational as removing Alt start on existing saves. Finally ditched AS LAL a few days ago and switched to Alternate Perspective and it's so much better.
It hurts so much lol. I've just fixed my game after a week of dealing with the game immediately hard-freezing before the cart ride even fades from black, during character creation with Alternate Start LAL, in or at random points in the first few minutes of gameplay.
I used to used the vanilla intro even with alternate start mods but I don't think I ever want to see that cart again now.
Do you have plans to patch dialogue conditions in Alternate Perspective? There is quite a few dialogues that appear in incorrect moments, or make no sense at all depending on player's starting point.
So in case you make up your mind I can give you two I have already found - Hadvar will consider you a prisoner no matter the beginning (dialogue near standing stones), and you can talk to Ulfric about events in Helgen even if you haven't done the Unbound quest.

It's compatible with the best mod vanilla intro mod on the nexus too.
was exactly my feeling when I needed to test Civil War related things... I can't imagine having to sit through that damn introduction 20 times xD
