YO! If you use a retexture of the vanilla workbench it may mess up the look of Renthal's workbench
Example here shown with Elsopa's retexture. If you want to use both you will have to rename the texture and open the vanilla mesh in nifscope to correct the file path.
Hello, thank you so much for your mods, you give a chance to see all the fine models in game, it's hard to choose from. I wanted to clarify about Downstar, I saw that it is written in your ini, but there is no workbench according to vanilla, and it after your mod also did not appear.
I would love to but the author has not responded to my permission requests, unfortunately. I will briefly explain how to do it while assuming you have a basic understanding of modding, navigating files, base object swapper and the creation kit.
To do so yourself, you need to 1. Download and unpack the mod.
2. Rename the .nif, I usually just add the authors name to the end. So blacksmithworkbench01.nif becomes blacksmithworkbench01Mathy.nif
3. rezip and install the mesh and textures
4. Open creation kit, load Skyrim.esm, Update.esm and Various Immersive Workbenches.esp and set as the active file
5. Once creation kit loads search for CraftingBlacksmithArmorWorkbench. Open it and rename. Again, I just add the authors name to the end so CraftingBlacksmithArmorWorkbenchMathy .
6. Look for where it says "model" and click edit. Navigate meshes>furniture>blacksmithworkbench01Mathy.nif (or whatever you named the .nif) and select it
7. click ok, you may get a warning saying to editor id has changed, create new form? click yes.
8. Save your work and close creation kit
9. Open the .ini in this file and you will see it is pretty straightforward. If you just want to see this one randomly in the wild for example add it to [Forms] CraftingBlacksmithArmorWorkbench|CraftingBlacksmithArmorWorkbench,CraftingBlacksmithArmorWorkbenchRenthal,CraftingBlacksmithArmorWorkbenchMathy (or whatever the new editorID you chose is)
10. Save .ini and you're done
I suck at explaining things so I hope that was good enough. You can also check the Base Object Swapper page for more info
lol great minds think alike. I've already made all those just haven't gotten around to sharing them. I have tons of these "various xyz" style mods in my own list but either haven't gotten around to uploading or there are permission complications
Always down to hear suggestions those so dont hesitate to let me know if you have any cool ideas :)

It is there in case you have a mod that adds a workbench, a lot of city overhauls do. Otherwise it is harmless

Enjoy!
So I should delete mesh blacksmithworkbench01.nif under clutter/blacksmith/ and under furniture?
Clutter>blacksmith is fine to leave alone
