While looking for some standalone tavern song replacers, I noticed in xEdit that Skyrim in total has 5 tracks for taverns, but those tracks are divided into 2 sets :

MUSTavern that has : MUSTavern01 and MUSTavern02
MUSTavernB that has :MUSTavern03, MUSTavern04, MUSTavern05







Here are the references of the first set - MUSTavern  :


What does this mean? Basically all inn's of smaller towns and villages will be only playing same first two tracks over and over again.

Here are the references of the second set - MUSTavernB :


This means that all inns of bigger cities will be only playing third, fourth and fifth tracks.


This mod simply fills both MUSTavern  and MUSTavernB with each other's missing tracks so that all inn's will be cycling between all 5 available tracks, instead of being limited to 1-2 or 3-5. Bigger variety, that's it. 


Compatibility

Standalone tavern songs replacers will work just fine if those are only replacing .xwm files and don't have plugin file. For full music overhauls, load my mod before them. If music overhaul of your choice doesn't provide tavern songs, my mod will do it's job. If it does provide it's own tavern songs, it will take effect over my mod and use that mod's songs. Here's an example with Nyghtfall - Dark Fantasy Music that does have it's own tavern music :


Nyghtfall - Dark Fantasy Music provides it's own 5 tracks for MUSTavernB (big city inns), however if you check the other set - MUSTavern it seems to be adding only it's 1-3 tracks, so you might want to correct that. After doing so, you can remove my mod as it won't be needed. 

TL;DR load my mod in xEdit with your full mod list to see if you need it or not, and to check how music overhaul of your choice distributes it's tavern songs.

You can of course also load my plugin after your music overhaul and then download some standalone replacers for example Around the Fire - Skyrim Fan-Made Music(REPLACER version) to have them played instead of tavern songs that are bundled with your music mod.
