A bug was just discovered with World Forges where if you dont uncheck the "Respawns" flag on them, they will get duplicated on cell resets (so several will be overlayed on top of each other). When then trying to like select school, the interaction will try to pick whichever forge-copy is closest (and since they are inside each other this will be rather random), then when trying to forge the selection will be random again. So you may not be configuring the same forge that you then try to make spells with. Which will make it look like the settings arent working :(
Anyway, if you see this at some point and have time, just open your esp in xEdit, find your "Placed Object" reference and in the top "Record Header", on the "Record Flags" setting, enable "NoRespawn". Thats all!
