And I finally got off my lazy butt and fixed these meshes too, so they render right in Skyrim SE.

As usual, the images are from Oldrim, because I'm too lazy to take new ones. I think things are a bit higher contrast in SSE, which makes these marginally shinier. But otherwise the images are taken without any ENB, reshade, or any kind of postprocessing. (Other than cropping the pics to make the composite pics with 2 or 3 swords in the same pic.) So basically you should have a pretty good idea of what you're getting.

May be it isn't just me who is just looking for some nice looking weapons in order to replace or have an alternative to the vanilla ones but why the change in their stats? Sure, why not?
However, I think an alternative download option would be great for some. I will download this and when I find the time I will make my own mod out of this in order to have just that. If I wouldn't know how to do this this beautiful mod would just sit here and I would go on looking for those that don't change the vanilla stats.. although, I admit those, for some reason, are rather hard to find.
Anyway, thanks for your time spent on these nice looking weapons and for sharing them!

Perhaps not the best place to ask, but I am trying to replace the vanilla iron swords with the Type X. I've gone into NIFSkope and changed the texture paths for the mesh and renamed it. The Type X mesh and textures are showing up great in game - beautiful sword! - but only on the physical, dropped item model. The first person and inventory display remain the vanilla iron sword, .

I believe this has something to do with the lack of a 1stPerson mesh, but I'm a bit new to this bit. Any nudges towards a reference or even a hint would be very appreciated! Thank you for the excellent swords Moraelin!
