Absolutely love the armor, looks great and am so thankful for your effort!

What cloak is that in the image you provided? The shot from behind, where the woman doesn't have the fur on the shoulders.

Edit: Disregard, just figured out that it's the light armor with the cloak. Shame, would love a heavy version with the cloak and no fur, but still an amazing look

Hi. You can easily remove the fur with NifSkope, right click on the fur model, Block -> Remove Branch (from both files _0 and _1).

Armor thats also worthy of being considered Death Knight armor for Skyrim.

Yeah, hoping we get a 3BA/BHUNP version so I can use it.

Same! I love Xtudo's work and I have most of their mods in my LO! I've got it for now for the Companions but it looks weird on my 3ba based girl!

I want to install it as the Wolf armor replacer, wich more patches/versions should I install? Should I install the standalone first and wolf later? (I ask because the wolf armor replacer file is smaller)

Just install the replacer, and yes, the file is smaller but don't worry, it's intentional.

Can you make an optional version with ONLY the shield, standalone, please?
I only want to use the shield, it looks so good.

As you asked so nicely, Optional Only Shields version added. Standalone. It only has the 4 shields. Fully compatible with Reduced Equipped Heavy Shield on Back and Swords on Shield (this one requires the Main file textures) patches, install them last. Have fun!

Really good looking mod! This is without a doubt my favourite male armor mod on nexus!!

But there's something that bothers me a bit, I've been seeing this yellow-ish grass-like texture on my first-person arm which only happens to my wolfcry armor. Is that normal or that might be a texture bug?

Hi. I'm glad you liked the armor. Hmm about the yellow-ish grass-like texture... maybe it's the fur, but it's supposed to be brown.
      It's the heavy armor version?
Here I use Immersive First Person View, and it's amazing, just a recommendation.

Yes, I was using the heavy armor version, and I can see that texture in with fur or no fur version, whether it's heavy armor or light armor. I think it probably is the fur texture, but it is in a color different from the black fur in the third person, so I just want to make sure that is an intended feature.

Also thanks for the recommendation. I use Improved Camera SE, which is also a first-person mod but newer, and has more bugs of course lol.

      Ah great mod too.
But it's weird, if you use Improved Camera you should see the armors as if you were in 3rd person mode. So the fur should be the same than 3rd person mode. If you can share an screenshot, that will help for sure.

Is it possible for the cloak to be crafted standalone?

Nope, as I edited the model especially to suit this armor, it will look weird if used in other armors/clothes (bad clipping, etc).
The original model is from the amazing Sons of Skyrim, and there is an Standalone version available there. Maybe it can help.

For clarity, would someone please confirm what files are needed if you wish to swap the vanilla armor for this mods version?
There is nothing in the description page, the file page or the posts section that actually states what files are required.

    1)  Both 'Wolfcry Armor SE by Xtudo - Standalone'   'Wolfcry Armor SE by Xtudo - Wolf Armor replacer'
          - or -
    2)  Only 'Wolfcry Armor SE by Xtudo - Wolf Armor replacer'

If you only want the replacer, you don't need the main file. That is only needed if you want standalone armor. The wolf armor replacer is standalone and does not require anything.
