This is seriously underrated mod and the only one of a kind when you dont want use the MCO/DXP fancy stuff and stick to Vanilla. But the animations are clunky, even when using Verolevi animations. I hope the autor will further upgrade this mod.
If anyone is wondering how to get it to work with animated armoury, I've written a short guide based on what worked for me.
1. go in game, press shift + O and hit author mode, and expand the random normal attack section.
2. Hit "create new condition preset", and then "add new condition"
3. You'll get something called IsForm. Expand it, then click on the drop down menu and select IsEquippedHasKeyword.
4. For the keyword, write WeapType[X], with X being the type of animated armoury weapon you want to exclude from this mod (reverting that type to its original animated armoury animations only). Examples: WeapTypeKatana, WeapTypeRapier, WeapTypeQtrStaff
5. You will have to create a new condition for each type of weapon you wish to exclude from the mod. You don't have to do every type. I found that only rapiers, katanas, and pikes are the ones that are jarring if they aren't excluded from this mod.
6. Click "Condition Set" and select copy. Now you can go into each submod folder (the numbers like 13, 41, etc), expand "conditions", click on "condition set" and click paste.
Does anyone have a problem with animations? While moving forward or on sides, some of the animations seem to be bugged. I don't know how to explain it, but PC swings his sword weirdly sometimes, not hitting the enemy.
It is like it starts with overhead attack but mid-swing something is glitched and it ends with a stab or something like that. It happens only if PC is moving. If I stand in place then everything is okay with animations.
+1, have that issue. The problem only appears while moving forward or backwards and spamming attack. While standing still, that problem doesn't occur. Essentially one or more attacks do not let the current animation to finish playing and start playing a new one, cancelling current attack. I've only observed this with Greatswords though
Can this be ported to xbox console? im jus wondering if its possible lol but this is what I was lookin for...to many anime movesets and I also dont like the commitment this isnt ds3
This mod was made because the author didn't like attack commitment from other mods.
Therefore THIS mod, which randomized animations for attacks, does not work with MCO, a mod used for a good majority of attack animations and implements attack commitment?
