Requirements
Overview
  • A straightforward, no-hassle landscape improvement mod
  • Integrates under-utilised assets from the Dragonborn DLC into the wider world of Skyrim
  • Mod replaces drift wood (TreeTundraDriftWood02) with flaming drift wood in the Aalto volcanic region of Eastmarch
  • Burning drift wood have a subtle FX element (burning, flaming and smouldering)
  • Fire craters and flaming rock debris suggest a more active volcanic region

Compatibility
Highly compatible with most setups, and with most other mods

Installation and Uninstallation
Use the mod manager of your choice to install. Or manually. To uninstall, remove with mod manager. My understanding is that BOS will not impact save games in any way. Safe to install or uninstall at anytime.

Configuration
  • Mod is currently configured to replace most drift wood (TreeTundraDriftWood02) in the Aalto volcanic region of Eastmarch: chanceS(100)
  • Users can adjust the frequency of the replacement by opening the .ini and editing the number in chanceS(100). 0-100. 0=0%, 100=100%, 50=50% etc.
  • Mod is also currently configured to insert flaming drift wood in a range of larger sizes between 1.0 of the original (same size) to 1.5x (bigger): scale(1.0/1.5)
  • Users can adjust the size/scale of the flaming drift wood by opening the .ini and editing the numbers in scale(1.0/1.5). When editing the scale, units must be in floats (e.g., 10.0)

Caveats
  • Images and video are for illustration purposes only
  • Burning drift wood may look different depending on setup (e.g., ENB, weather, etc.)
