can't use follow or others settings, the bug starts when the mission target's alone, you need to buy a horse first dismount and mount to not bug the quest
At the beginning of my game I stole a horse I think, and the CH mod got bugged. got stuck in "evaluate your riding skills"
later I bought a horse, but the mission did not advance, and the interaction with the horse was vanilla
solution:
you must have additem menu installed for convenience
1. open console command 2. type "setstage CHIntro 10" without quotes, *quit console*, then type "setstage CHIntro 20" then *quit console* and so on until reaching "setstage CHIntro 100" (this is to get horse call and whistle spell) 3. open additem menu and search for "horn", get nord riders horn (if you dont have additemmenu mod you must search the ID of nord riders horn with xedit and type additem xxxxxxxx 1) that's all. then the purchased horse will behave as it should.
Thank you, it worked! I didn't even need to add the item, I typed "setstage CHIntro xx" 10 to 100 and after the last mission was completed I could "talk" to the horse and take the horn from the it's inventory "what's in the sack" and now everything works.
