I have weird shading on my modded TERA armour, I find out that this mod is causing it.
You can see it in the shoulder's details, side "seam" and belt. Different armours from Tera have the same problem, but vanilla armours don't. I done some searching and find out on community shaders mod site that I need to "deactivate cs material shader" but I really don't have any idea how to do it. Any help? Until fix I will just disable this mod in community shader settings.
Can someone please go into more details about how I would go about doing this? How to know whcih textures are parallax maps? and how to compress them to bc4 using cathedral assets optimizer?
there is an option on CAO to compress maps. you have to check a box for bc4, which may require you to make a "custom" profile so you can modify settings and compress.
I'm all of a sudden getting float black objects since updating all the shaders. Any ideas? Research is saying its an ENB parallax textuure issue according to this post, but I didn't have this issue until updating the shader packs with most recent updates.
I recently noticed this reflection bug on a certain piece of armor (it's the Orcish Scaled Hands) and I think this is what the mod author might have referred to as "having an invalid alpha channel leading to warped textures".
First image shows Complex Materials enabled, second shows disabled. As you can see, I am using Community Shaders instead of ENB, but that shouldn't really matter.
So, in an attempt to fix this, I have already installed a retexture for this CC pack (the original texture had the same problem) but as you can see that didn't fix it either. Does anyone here know how you would go about fixing this manually? Or if this is even the "bug" the author mentioned? I have zero clues about what to change where. I understand the textures alpha channel needs to be changed, but is that something as simple as setting a value somewhere? Do I have to unpack the texture or the mesh (I know sometimes information is stored in the mesh file instead of the texture file for whatever reason)?
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :)
Most likely the armor piece in question has some mipmaps on the texture file that is causing distortions. The way I fix it is by deleting the mipmaps themselves in GIMP.
I did some testing and I can confirm this bug happens on the Orcish scaled armor even without any other textures installed. Of course that could also mean that the official creation club's textures are the ones with the problem.
Many armor mods experience issues with this mod enabled... weird reflections and texture deformation... I know it's not this mod's fault but does anyone know how to fix it?

Is this accurate? Complex Parallax Materials doesn't actually provide support for Complex Materials similar to ENB?

Tried everything
Parallax textures on distance have white textures. (in that case - Peltapalooza - Complex Parallax)
I have Auto Parallax and all requirements.
Many people also experience this problem. (and with other parallax mods)

but not in the ENB
