    Please endorse if you like, it means a lot.
    Do take the time to look at the screenshots - there are a lot haha, and I didn't even upload a photo of every texture
    Please keep the comments section civil as well...

    For any Northern Roads users here, I have completed a set of matching textures for shish15's landscapes, and can be found here:

    The prelodgen files, that means I activate this during lodgen and then deactivate it once I finish?

      No, those are made for you. Only things I did not include is Solstheim, Apocrypha and Soulcaidn. Do note I only ran them for the yellow tundra :)

    Endorsed. This is my favourite landscape texture mod. Have you considered expanding into the DLC landscapes next? I'd be very interested to see your take on them.

    Would you consider to upload non parallax version to used with Terrain Parallax Blending Fix ?
    That mod requires both parallax and non parallax textures to fix all landscape seams.

      Non parallax textures for the blending fix would be awesome, indeed. Would make this mod even better :)

      Use complex materials, enables terrain blending using proper ENB parallax and works with the blending fix (which is a workaround for old method of parallax that isn't supported by skyrim engine or ENB author Boris) but you MUST load the ML and/or MM meshes esp after the terrain blending fix esp

      I think you misunderstand? Correct me if im wrong.
      For example Atlantean complex materials version is using complex material with TPBF folder structure. While ML is using ‘static’ folder structure, TPBF is using ‘parallax’ folder structure. But it requires both parallax and non parallax textures.
      From what I experienced the blending from TPBF are superior over ML, and better performance too since we won’t have to add MM.
      We can see this comparison in the atlantean complex vs atlantean ML, you can still see seams in some places on the ML version, which you will not see on the TPBF version.
      I apologize to brought up another landscape texture mods, but this is just for example. I like how this mod looks, thats why I would love to see it in TPBF version. Thanks

      Ah I did dorry, I forgot to mention you would need devikyn's vanilla complex parallax landscape mod first and overwrite with HD remastered, that way it uses his parallax heightmap files in place of the missing ones for TPBF

      In theory, yes I think we could just run TPBF batch script on this mod to create the folder structure. But I think skyland + skyland parallax and overwrite them with this mod would lead to a better results.
      Combining vanilla textures with this mod would be like combining 2011 game with 2023 game haha

      I just had more of a look into TPBF page, and I wont make any promises but looking at how the TPBF esp works, it may not be that you need a non-parallax and parallax texture but just a standard .dds and then an _p.dds that contains the heightmap on all channels, so theoretically I could just do some photoshop copy/pasting to create the missing _p files and also duplicate .dds files for the \parallax folder and add as an optional install file...

      I might have a go, label it "experimental" and let everyone test it out - should still work with complex material as well as long as load order is correct too

      Hey JPdreamer, thanks for the Terrain Parallax Blending Fix add-on, is Majestic Mountains Complex Material required for it? I ask because I'm still getting seams :(

      I dont think you should combine the two. They are using different folder structure.

      Ok cool, just checking. I don't use MM Complex Material but I'm trying to understand why I'm still seeing seams.

      MM complex material isn't required for Terrain blending fix, TPBF has its own implementation for fixing mountain blending

      Could be lots of reasons for seams still, the fix is easily overwritten by other mods so try moving to later in load order?

      For reference they can be used together but MM plugin has to load after TPBF plugin to work

      For the experimental TPBF file, were the diffuse textures altered at all? Further up this comment chain, it seems you're under the impression that duplicating the diffuse into a \parallax folder to comply with TPBF file structure and adding matching _p files is all that's needed to support said mod. However, the original textures are using the alpha channel of the diffuse as the height map for complex terrain parallax, not for the usual transparency. Simply duplicating these textures will not allow the blending fix to work properly as blending depends on some transparency in the alpha channel, meaning the diffuse textures need actual alteration.

      I tested this experimental file alongside TPBF with Enhanced Rocks and Mountains, which adds rock skirts to various rock/mountain meshes to better blend the 'terrain' of the meshes into the rock portions. However, the blending is completely broken because the diffuse texture used by these rock skirts doesn't seem to have any transparency. Dirt cliffs and similar landscape statics also have broken blending with this setup.

      Just so anyone else reading gets it.

      You install one of the 3 MAIN files. You install the experimental fix file which contains non-parallax textures. You install TPBF. The order should be this.
      1. Experimental fix;
      2. Main HD remastered landscapes file;
      3. Any other parallax mod;
      4. Terrain Parallax Fix;

      And then you apply the changes to the folder structure for the specific files as suggested by TPBF.

      Correct?

      New diffuse textures that use alpha for transparency instead of parallax are needed for the parallax terrain blending fix mod to work correctly with these textures.

    I love these textures and are among my favourite. However I was wondering, would be any chance for a lighter grey mountain and rock rubble and road  textures, as well as a grey beach textures?

    Had to hide fxrapidsrocks01.nif in the ENB materials file because it was giving me purple squares instead of splashes.

    I'm having snow blending issues. This is using majestic landscapes meshes, majestic mountains complex material, BDS2. As you can see here (top image) the rocks and snow are blended perfectly on the right but theres a demarcation line on the left. There are some more images showing some unblended snow, hope you have some ideas on how to fix. Also, it doesnt seem to matter whether I use SoS/BDS, same result. It's gone if I turn off terrain blending in ENB, or if I use BDS3 but I understand BDS3 has issues with parallax.

    Is it normal that the snowy mountain textures look like that? Seems like the textures of the rocks aren't applied properly and the snow looks really bad.
    Also installed the Simplicity of Snow Patch in the Fomod
    Have everything installed properly (also MM Complex Material) and also enabled all the settings in the enb ini file.
    Mountains without snow look completely normal.

    Hello, great mod, one issue. Particles emitting from FXRapidRocks01 are missing a texture. This only occurs when I enable the ENB materials. Thanks.

    I'm using the ENB complex materials option with Majestic mountains and everything looks great except the markarthcliff meshes are very warped looking. It's probably user error but idk what.

      Could you send a screenshot? Ill see if it needs maybe UV mapping alteration or something

      im assuming its these:
      markarthcliff01
      markarthcliff02
      markarthcliff03
      markarthcliff04

      EDIT: yea these were SUPER BORKED, turns out MM meshes for these use old style parallax still so I have edited them to new style and will upload

      Despite the update, I still get warped textures for the Markarth cliffs. https://imgur.com/a/yji3fxB

      To ensure I'm installing it as intended since the FOMOD wording is a bit confusing, I should have everything installed in this order: Majestic Landscapes, Majestic Mountains, Really Blended Roads, HD Remastered Landscapes, then HD Remasted Landscapes - ENB Complex Parallax, correct?

    Hi, I've installed this mod, I've installed enb by copy d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler46e.dll to the skyrimvr folder, I launch the game to create the enbseries.ini file, I edit it to add the requiered lines un [EFFECT] part :

    EnableTerrainParallax=true
    FixParallaxTerrain=true
    EnableTerrainBlending=true
    EnableComplexTerrainParallax=true

    But it dont work en games, textures are still flat, what did I do wrong plz ? I want to do it by enb because of a preset that I want to use but I want to make parallax work first

    Edit : I've just tried community shader + auto parallax + complex parallax material (with dependencies installed) and it still dont work. I'm new to this sort of mods, so I dont know if I should have installed something that is not listed in the dependencies of this mod

      Try these settings as per Wizkid:

      Required ENB settings in enbseries.ini:

      EnableTerrainParallax=false
      EnableComplexParallax=true
      EnableComplexParallaxShadows=true
      EnableTerrainBlending=true
      EnableComplexTerrainParallax=true
      EnableComplexTerrainParallaxShadows=true
