It looks great but the half-circle section just below the crossguard would be very uncomfortable on your hands. If it were switched to be part of the pommel, that would make more sense because many pommels in history had a circle or half circle shape.
Thank you...and yes it would be very uncomfortable but there are several reasons for that,one of the main is the way the charter holds the sword in this game..with this crossguard some things is not good.....Thank you again...
I dont know if you're interested in this kind of criticism or not, but I'll offer it anyhow. the grip is too round. more of a flattened oval shape would make this look much more usable. the problem with round grips on straight bladed swords it that its too easy to mess up edge aliment when cutting, and the sword can easily twist in the hand. Curved swords dont have this issue as much bc their geometry naturally orients the blade along a cutting edge in the swing. that nitpick aside, i do very much like your work, Necross is one of my favorite weapons currently.
Yes, I'm always for serious criticism about weapons....and I know I made a mistake...I rushed a little bit, this is the last my sword in this first part of 5 of them..in a few days will put them all together in one mod Peacemaker,Vamp-Sword,Necross,DaedricLord Sword and Stinger-Poisoner....and i'll start with the second series of swords also 5 of the them, but I'll try to be a little more serious,making sheaths,patches..etc.quality and without hurry...
Really like the look of this, nice, clean and simple. Definitely downloading, though I will echo what Underakillingmoon8891 said about having a more oval handle, for realism's sake
