am using picklock are illicit mod for immersion preference. controller are harder to aim but picklock still easily to break. i am bothered to keep in mind prepare enough picklocks everytime i go. am also not so literated for what inside .esp is out of frustation, this mod is justifically perfect "act" as last resorts. i like your mod
Used this on my latest playthrough. Was hoping to use this as a replacement for Lock Overhaul. I've used that mod ever since it was released for LE over a decade ago. Most of its functions have been superseded by other mods. Bashing locks was the only thing I kept it around for.
However, after testing this mod out, it seems I need to return to using Lock Overhaul once more. The reason is the XP gains. The whole point of bashing locks, at least for me, is to not level up the lock-picking skill. There are several mods that add spells that enable mages to deal with locks without levelling the skill, and in my mind, bashing should do the same for warriors.
It would also be cool if bashing locks was impossible to do silently. It should alert everyone in the cell. Bashing should not be part of sneaky playstyle, rather something a barbarian does after dealing with everyone who might take affront with such actions. Though I have no idea how hard that would be to implement. Skyrim wasn't designed with that sort of nuance in mind.
In any case, an option to disable the XP would increase the utility of this mod tremendously.
hello, silly question, the mod doesn't work against locks added by mods? i tried opening a door in bleakfalls, the revisited version but could only open vanilla stuffs, am i missing something or is that correct?
