I'm having a bit of a problem, and I'm hoping you can help.
I used this mod with a female Argonian without any problems, it worked beautifully. But while testing a few new mods, I quickly realized hostile npcs wouldn't attack me. They'd only aggro if I attacked them, and they still wouldn't hit me. They'd just wander around aggressively like they couldn't see me. With a little testing, I realized this only happens while playing a male Argonian. Female is fine, hence why I didn't notice it before.
I disabled the new mods first, then did the usual 'turn mods off and on in batches to find the culprit', and it's this mod. I reinstalled it, checked load order, checked base skyrim files, and it still happens when this mod is enabled, but not when it's disabled.
I think something must be conflicting with your mod. (Why else would it only affect male pcs when it works so well for female pcs?) I'm having a hard time figuring out what, though. MO2 doesn't show file conflicts, xedit only shows conflicts with USSEP, the Unoffical Modder's Patch, and Divine Elegance store, and it's winning those conflicts, and happens even with Divine disabled.
I'm not mid-playthrough or anything, so it's not a huge problem. I'd still like to solve it so I can use your mod on male characters too. If you have any ideas of what the cause is or what to check, I'd appreciate it. No worries if you don't.
My game has the strange bug of constantly 'removing' the selected race. As in, the character will look the same, but the player character will reset to a default "PlayerRace", disabling this mod's powers and even stopping underwater breathing from working! Does anyone know what could be causing this bug?
Question. In the descriptions, it said "this mod changes only the Argonian race, and the race's powers and abilities". So unlike other ART mods, this actually change the race instead of using hidden quest ? or does this also use hidden quest to give abilites?
💡 If you have a mod that changes the Argonian race (e.g., makes the race look different), make sure it loads after this one. Doing so will disable the changes this mod makes to Argonian followers (e.g., they won't be able to swim faster) but your character will still have the new abilities and powers.
