Hey everyone! Here is the Dark brotherhood retexture! I decided to add both classic red and black and full black versions of the shrouded armor and robes, as most DB retexture seem to do it and I thought it would be fun to do. Thanks to my patrons Bucki and Chillston for suggesting I retexture Better shrouded armor sse and the last shadowscale!
Update 1.1 out now!
Added retexture for Cicero's clothesAdded low res version (1k-512)Increased Shininess of all leather and metal
Fixed inverted normal maps on female shrouded armor gloves
Brightened all black cloth
Brightened better shrouded armor textures
Removed a lot of the unneeded AO (baked shadows)
COMPATIBILITY
Works with every mod that also works with vanilla textures, such as Reshaped Dark Brotherhood Robes and Dark Brotherhood Armor Replacer. Also covers the extra texture from the unofficial patch and the bloody version of the shrouded robes used by a character at the end of the DB questline.
If you prefer Frankly HD's version or any other Shrouded armor retexture, you can still install the Shrouded robes and consistency patches on their own.
WHAT IS NEXT?
Next up will be Saints & Seducers!
If you would like to see the full roadmap (just a rough outline, it's always subject to change), I posted my To-do list on my Patreon. The list is public so no need to become a Patron to see it.
I recently noticed that my character has invisible wrists when wearing the Shrouded Gloves from this armor, though. It seems as if the gloves are missing the wrist/forearm portion, but the actual gloves (hand parts) are visible.
So I'm trying to figure out how the scarf works on the shrouded armor, specifically on the female amor. I've read other peoples comments and it seems to be tied to the unofficial patch (i think the USSEP just edits the male armor tho im not sure). However I'm still unable to get it to appear, I think its supposed to be tied to the cowl and not the chest piece, but I'm stumped and nothing I've been trying to figure this out for too long. If anyone knows what to do, or has any help or information that would be awesome.
Also love your retextures, thanks for your hard work.
Similar issue I'm having. If this is supposed to include the mask, it's not there for me either. If it's conflicting with something else, I'm not seeing it on vortex.
Thanks this worked for me I'll post exactly what I did if anyone else is wondering how it works.
USSEP adds the scarf to the male armor not the female, WACCF remove the scarf from the male armor and adds it to both male and female shrouded cowl. WACCF adds and changes a ton of stuff that you may not want changed so if you just want the scarf added to the cowl you'll have to go into SSEedit (if you aren't familiar with it there are tutorials on youtube on how to use it, its fairly simple and very useful tool) and remove anything that isn't tied to the shrouded armor set. Also if you use cbbe the hood will look weird but there is a patch for WACCF.
I hope this works for everyone and wasn't just a fluke on my end, feel free to correct any thing that I said thats wrong if you see it.
Thanks again for leading me on onto WACCF, and keep up the good work.
Hi xavbio what about the Worn Shrouded Armor and the Ancient Shrouded Armor shame that these sets look identical to the other ones maybe you could make a version that actually looks worn and ancient for both the colors if you're up to it
that's a mesh thing. the mask part is made to fit on most faces but it can cause clipping sometimes. Not the type of issues I'm interested in "fixing" but I'm sure there's mods doing it on nexus
Hey Xav, wonderful work, I cannot even imagine the effort behind the screen lol Do you think this armor would benefit from your texttures ? I think it uses vanilla shrouded armor assets for colors. Thank you for your contribution. Cheers.
I’m sure the question has already been asked and it’s definitely probably a huge undertaking but would we possibly ever see a pbr version of your mods? I’ve been using pbr vanilla outfits and it’s stunning. I know it would look even better with your amazing retextures!

The mod you linked has fully closed permissions, so I would not be able to retexture it
