Lore
In the era of the Nerevarine, the traditional Morrowind pickaxe was a common sight in the mines of Vvardenfell. These tools were made by skilled Dunmer smiths, using locally sourced materials and methods passed down through generations.

The unique design, so different from those seen in Skyrim, reflects the distinct culture and traditions of the Dark Elves.

One of these pickaxes found its way into Skyrim, carried by a wandering Dunmer who sought refuge after the eruption of Red Mountain.

The Dunmer, anonymous, was a former miner from Vvardenfell who decided to continue his trade in the mines of Skyrim.

To honor his homeland, Kanjs meticulously maintained his Morrowind pickaxe, even as he adopted the harsh Nordic way of life.

Over time, the story of Kanjs and his unique pickaxe spread among the mining communities of Skyrim.
The pickaxe became a symbol of resilience, a testament to the strength of those who withstand great trials and persevere in foreign lands. Today, the pickaxe you hold is a recreation of Kanjs's tool, a tribute to the enduring spirit of all adventurers, from Morrowind to Skyrim.

Mod Manager / Manual Extraction to the Skyrim Data folder.
Overwrite any existing files. No plugin requirement.
