If you're getting a message about conflicts in the console with the Base Object Swapper version, you can replace the last 4 entries with the following: ;DLC2CrateSmall01Weathered_LightAsh|DLC2CrateSmall01Weathered_LightAshYU 0x3A11F~Dragonborn.esm|0x813~ALT - Crates - BOS.esp
I saw your message but completely forgot about it... sorry !
It's not just JKs, in ESP I made a mistake for these crates. the meshes name had a space, so the game sees it as an invisible meshes. This is fixed in version BOS 1.0.1.2 ;)
Using the diversity version with DTA patch and your crates are invisible while the normal vanilla crates are not, unsure why because i don't have any other mods touching crates
Since I know you're experimenting with BOS, is there any chance you'd consider a stand-alone version that randomly replaces some crates (say 50% chance for whatever vanilla replacer one uses, and 50% for your models)? I think improved variety would be nice. :)
Hi @Yuril, sorry I missed your reply. Awesome that you got the mix sorted! If I can help with any of your BOS endeavors in the future, feel free to drop me a PM. Happy to help with anything I can!
Thank you, but could you please remove the folder in the archive and just include the ini? Its because Vortex is super stupid and when installing it with Vortex, a new folder 'ALT - Crates - BOS - DIVERSITY' with the ini file in it is dropped into the DATA folder of Skyrim. Therefore the ini file from the main mod will not be overwritten and therefore Skyrim will load the ini file from the main archive.
I'm having problems with BOS version using with Seasons of Skyrim. Some crates became invisible in Dawnstar. Don't know if it's because of BOS stuff or anything else because your another excellent mod ALT Barrels BOS version seems fine. Just given up trying to figure out what causes this problem and switched to non-BOS version lol.
Hey Yuril! I'm using the regular replacer version of your mod, and encountered an issue with Markarth Outskirts. It's a small incompatibility that was fixed quickly in xEdit. Before - After
If you want, I can send you the esp patch! GG said you can host it, if you wish, when I asked them.
Oh, alright I can do that this weekend. The problem, as you see above, is that GG made new static objects using the crates to have moss shaders on them. However, since the static objects use the default crates instead of unique meshes, it applies vanilla textures to your crates, causing the bugged textures in the first image.
My patch changes the texture path properly to use your weathered box textures, while applying the moss shaders.

Before all the entries were filled with Skyrim.esm references to the same object, I assume the author just forgot to replace them.
Any choice to get a JK Skyrim AIO patch?
Best regards!

I'll see what I can do, since originally there is a texture swap, not sure if it works. I'll try. ;)
I didn't have time yesterday, but yes if you get there before, it would help.^^
Cheers
PS. If it works, it might be worth considering doing something similar for your barrel mod. :P

What did you use to model and texture these?

You can release it as a patch if you wish. ;)
