I'm gonna try Taliesin for the first time, I like his personality so far in the videos I've seen. ----------------- So... a bit of an update, first playing with him as follower and well. First impression got me thinking hes insane, right off the bat. Although a bit funny sometimes, I see why the Thalmor tried to get rid of him. Poor poor, Tally. I'm not gonna spoil anything but I see why hes unstable with what he went through.
Poor guy is having a bad day. He's backed into a corner, so he's going to show some claws at first, but if you're able to handle him at his worst, you'll be able to handle him when he's being insufferable, lol!
I love this sassy man so much. It's hard to find companions that are good and well-voiced, and i'm so happy with his quirkiness (and clean voice quality lol). I hope to see a lot of updates in the future for him! <3 <3 <3
Genuinely my number 1 most favorite follower ever, I don't think anybody can top Taliesin I get a real life grin every time he says something silly. 10/10 mod MUST HAVE!!!

Unfortunately, he seems to think my DB is naked no matter what she's wearing (I think?). I keep getting the voiceline "I know Nords pride themselves on their scars, but this is highly unnecessary!" And he says it about every few minutes.
Is this an issue with modded armors? If so, I've swapped between a few, most of them heavy like the Infantry set. I skimmed the first few pages of comments but didn't come across anyone who had the same issue. Any advice? 😂
The line involving nords and their scars are because of the conditions. They're suppose to recognize low health, but I got the conditions mixed up. I'm working on getting that fixed in the update once I get the voicelines from the VA. If you have the Creation Kit, you can manually disable that line to avoid going insane from him repeating that. That will be a problem for Nord players until I get the update up.
in terms of the armor, Taliesin had conditions set to recognize when the player is wearing clothes or not. If you're wearing modded clothes, chances are the Mod Author forgot to attach keywords to the armor sets such as "Armor Cuirass". Without those keywords, Taliesin thinks the player is running around without clothes.
Hey that's cool! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong. I usually am running around with chunked health so that probably exacerbated the issue 😂 If it gets annoying, I'll do the creation kit thing you mentioned. Thanks! And looking forward to more updates
well, it's getting close to Tally's first anniversary, should we throw him a party?? ;-) Seriously love Tally as a follower - I've tried several different followers and I keep coming back to him. I don't need a big group - Tally is pretty strong with his ice spikes so the two of us usually muddle through. Hoping that update will come through sometime soon though; Tally needs some fresh dialogue and more quest comments.
