Dumb Question. How often does it create problems? because i see it mentioned but at the same time it does not seem to happen to everyone. Also means extendet period of time the runtime of a playtrough or how often the stuff is sold. Because i think that would be important to create any type of fix. And if it is the thing i read somewhere that the items bloat the npc inventory saves should be a fix not just simply deleting sold items?
I have asked in the original mod's comment section but never got an answer... When I try to spawn my stall from droping it from inventory, the stall appears behind me ='( is there a way to dynamically move it around to find the best spot or am I doomed to s#*! it from my butt? TwT
haven't downloaded this mod yet so I can't guarantee it works, but I use Jaxon's positioner for all things that need to be deleted, moved, copied, or anything else'd. :)
Got me thinking... how cool would it be to have a patch with 'Become a Bard' or 'Skyrim got Talent'? → Send your follower to the stall and stand close to them. Then make music to attract customers. :) With SgT it could even influence the sell prices, depending on how good (or bad) you play. :)
hey epic work on the tune up of the original. Love playing as a merchant. One "ask" I have if I may, I was not able to do it myself, but I would totally remove Beggar and Child from the list of possible buyers. Anyways, again, thanks for the mod and of course for the original mod author.
I published my pricing patches for both YMS original and YMS Plus. Hope it works well for those who want it :) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/93527/?tab=files
Like the Mod but it seems to be crashing the game after using it for an extended period in game. If I leave an npc at the rug and leave for more than one in game day it causes crashes within 5 seconds of loading the save.
Does this mod address the value that goods are sold for? The issue with the original mod is it was just too easy to make money, as with high speech, you could buy things from other stores and sell them in your stall and make a profit. The prices you sell items for should be more in line with other vendors. Otherwise, it just prints money.
im currently working on a rework of the original mod, ill test and see if the price fix im working on and this modifiying mod could work in tandum. i imagine they will, since im only touching two scripts to adjust the barter factor the NPC customers are beholdent to. if they dont work together then i can send my notes to zhuqingting2018 and they could do as they please with them.
i got the files ready and my notes to go with them so peeps can alter things to how they want, sorry i would of done MCM stuff but thats way over my head so you have to alter, recompile the file and relaunch, sounds scary but with Papyrus ++ (notepad++ with built in papyrus plugins) its actually like 2 clicks to compile it and it puts it as loose in your skyrim directory so it over-rules the mods files, appling the change. i messaged the original mod author about sharing the files, i dont know modder curtosy and dont wanna step on anyone toes ya know? but ill share my notes with anyone who doesnt mind doing the work to make the alterations. otherwise ill upload the rebalance patch after the modder says its all gouda. maybe its unneccesary to wait but idk
would there be a way to adjust the prices? im selling minor hp potions valued at 17 for almost 48 a pop and its making things feel boring, i could just buy stuff and flip it rather than adventure for coin. it would be a dream if there was a MCM with sliders or input boxes for exact numericals, i looked into the original files of the Your Market Stall mod but i cant make any sense of it myself (new to modding skyrim). i adjusted the tax rate to no avail, added bits to reduce the prices but had to revert my changes due to the stall not functioning afterwards.
Yeah... I don't think it should ever reach prices in the stores. Max like 70 or 80 percent... and min should be sightly more than you can sell it at a store.
i agree, i wated to do a 'no selling to store npcs' run inspired from this very mod, but it feels cheaty once i realized that i could start flipping stuff from the npc stores :( ive dived into the bsa and kept changing and reverting things after testing and honestly i have no clue how its functioning. i really wanna make adjustments to this mod but i gotta learn how to understand what i see first lol. if i manage to make adjustments ill release a patch for more reasonable prices
i gotta disagree one of the reasons i want to be able to sell my own things to people who want them is cause the full value 100% of the price, the npc store always sell it to you for equal to or higher to it's value (not taking speech craft skill into account) and buy it for less than it's value i want my items full worth when i sell
as for the buying and flipping....just don't do that, than you can fairly do a no selling to stores run, if it feels cheaty to buy from other stores and sell at yours then dont do it...adventure find treasure in dungeons and then sell that, or buy materials craft with them and sell the product you made...
see id like to not buy something from a shop then sell it, but i have to just to get the enchantments off it and i use ordinator so i have a perk that lets me keep stuff when learning enchants. so i end up with gear i dont need and sell it off. i think both ways are good and playable for different playthrus, but i was finally able to make adjustments and might upload my notes and adjustments for those who might want them.

Need to know this. Don't want to screw up my saves, but really want to use the mod :(

EDIT: it did after cell change.
