If anyone ever has an issue with a particular NPC that you either can't get to follow or are just unsure of follow-able marriage-able status.
I will, in my spare time, test and screenshot my results when possible :)
Just, before you report as an issue, do your own homework as well, for me (and for yourself). Confirm that the mod is installed correctly, whether thru NMM or manual installation:
The following files SHOULD be in your /Skyrim Special Edition folder (Where Skyrim.exe is located): divorce.txt setfriend.txt setmarry.txt
And the following file, should be in your /Skyrim Special Edition/Data folder: anyonefollows2.esp
Apologies for the confusion and laziness on my behalf, THANKS SO MUCH FOR CHECKING OUT THIS MOD <3
Since you made a comment, I presume you know how to read. The description page gives simple instructions on how the mod works. May I suggest you read it?
As a modder I have wanted to say this thousands of times over the last 30 years.
That said, this kind of rudeness is way I don't post to Nexusmods. Just rude, just saying so you know....
Yeah, you're right. I don't know what was in my head when I posted this. I apologize for my original comment. It would help for those having trouble to give more details though. It's difficult to troubleshoot others issues when there are so many variables involved; i.e. their modlist, load order, etc....
so I installed and it worked like a charm. I imported the NPC (Fura Bloodmouth) to NFF system and everything worked well. Until I dismissed her. Now I want to recruit her again but the option does not appear. I tried again the "bat setfriend" on the console, I see it changes but the option does not show up. The files are in the /Skyrim Special Edition folder, the esp is active. Not sure what could have happened?
Edit: I tested with Orthjolf and it worked, showing the issue was not the mod. Eventually I was able to make her a follower by creating a small patch that changed her voice...
I was super excited to use this mod cause I've always wanted to marry captain lonely gale, but when I tried installing it using mod organizer it gave me the conflict error message saying that it's a mod for Oldrim and I can't install it. Why does the mod use Form 43 if it's for SSE?
Yep. The mod author should have completed the port by saving in the SSE Creation Kit, which would change it to Form 44. I even sent him a message requesting he do this, but no response.
For some reason this mod alters the dialogue of pet followers like Meeko. When i command him to wait, he doesn't and instead it makes my regular follower wait. Also i can make them carry stuff.
I am trying to recruit Nazeem so I can sacrifice him to boethia but after I type bat setfriend nothing happens, no dialogue box shows up or anything, the console says it set the relationship rank to 4 and added the 3 factions but still no dialogue option. I am sure I have the right npc selected.
