a few people have been asking for it, so I'll add a shout-less version soon. however, if you want to remove shout files, delete any voice files that look like "voicepowers_shout(x) and so on. like these files for example. feel free to delete the dlc folders completely, as they're just shout files. these files should either show up in your data folder, or if you use mo2, in explorer when you click on the mod. these will only delete the mod's files, and the vanilla shouts will be restored!
for anybody that's having problems getting the voice to work install this mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27039) and enable one of the voices in the MCM doesn't matter which one then wait a second and disable it then use a heavy attack or anything that would normally make a character noise and it'll work. you're welcome.
you could try a mod that adds player-exclusive audios and replace/add these audio files to that. I'd suggest this, and replace a mod's audio files with the ones here
you may have tried these already, but you need to use a mod manager to install. you may need to switch out any voice mods that could replace the female human and elven voices. I don't know how else to help, since I have no idea what is happening with your game
I had the LE version for years. I play SE, but the LE version of worked just fine...mostly. It slowly stopped working. Now, the only times my character makes any sound is when she's out of breath. This might just fix that. Thanks jlowen.
Edit: Found out why my character's voice was bugged. "Death Alternative" (I love this mod) would mess with the player voice track whenever I entered bleedout state. All I had to do was reset my player state in the MCM debug menu for DA and all is well again. Even still, it's nice to have this mod for SE instead of LE. It's just better that way.
