This probably means that you're using an unsupported skeleton. Skeleton signatures must be manually added to the skeleton extender config files. You can find the skeleton signature by using the explorer, in "Tools>Diagnostics>Skeleton explorer":
Filter the actor (your character or some NPC), click on the Signature to copy it to the clibboard, and then, paste the signature here in the comments section, so I can include it in the next versions.
I have invisible sheathed weapons on female character, If I switch to the male sex in racemenu the weapon shows up. I use XP32 skeleton Lite and the female/male skeleton from XP32 skeleton 4.81 version.
edit: fixed, the preset had weapons hidden in racemenu when was using full xp32 version.
Hi, I downloaded the mod and cannot find the "Sword back on hip" node from the configuration menu, does load order matters or am i just missing something?
I have three mods at the moment related to IED and here is the load order:
IED IED Extra Skeleton Node (This mod) Weapon Styles - DrawSheathe Animations for IDE
Well that's the thing, I don't see word for word, the option "sword back on hip", I figured that this can't be normal, I must be doing something wrong, but I cannot get my head around so I must toss the question here in case anyone had the same case as mine and had it resolved.
"Sword back hip", just like the picture in the description, although the name of the window is Gear nodes(not Gear positioning) in latest versions. Did you find it?
Hey all! If, like me, you downloaded this great mod to be able to use EVG Conditional Idles' shield cover animations and you use "NAT.ENB III - Natural and Atmospheric Tamriel ENB 3.1.1C" with it's weather plugin, the rainy weather in it (xx0053c7) seems to be custom and so, not detected by OAR for the shield cover animation. I searched for a bit before understanding the problem and when I found it, it was quite easy to correct: Go into OAR in user mode, find the 6002110 legacy folder, expand the "Conditions" tab, then expand the "Or" tab, scroll all the way down to the last "Current Weather" entry and right click on it, choose "Copy condition" and then "Paste condition below". Expand the new Current weather tab you just created and change the .esp or .esm or .esl name that is in it (for me it was TrueStorms.esp) for NAT-ENB.esp and finally, change the number to it's right for 0053c7. Click on "Save user config" a bit below and done! The animation started playing immediately under rain. You can use the same steps as before with the folder numbered 6001910 to apply the same changes to the shield cover animation for NPCs. I hope it will save someone as confused as me the searching time haha! Thank you for the awesome mod!
Guards must ignored in the configs. If you're using the presets(misc files), make sure to apply them in the correct tabs in Gear nodes. NPC preset in Global tab with NPC selected and Player in Global tab with Player selected.
With mod enabled, recurrent in-game CTDs. With mod uninstalled, the CTDs go away. Perhaps a conflict, and not a bug. I'm running 1400+ plugins on 1170 and modding with Vortex. Lots of opportunities for conflicts, but my list feels otherwise stable.
Thanks GiraPomba for the comment. Interesting. I'm always looking for ways to improve stability. Racemenu seems straightforward to install/setup. Where might I have made a misstep? I'm curious if a Racemenu setting/user-error could conflict with your mod. After the uninstall of your mod, I've not had a CTD in 10 hours of play. With it enabled, I was getting an in-game CTD every 10-20 minutes. I'm not pointing a finger at your mod; I'm eager to learn.
I'm not sure why it's causing the crash to be honest. I think it's more of a conflict with RaceMenu and IED than this mod, because there are only .json files with new nodes here for the skeleton extender system. I also don't see anything wrong with how they're made.
Maybe RaceMenu doesn't like the new nodes, maybe you have another mod that's also adding new nodes and the mods are clashing.
So, I followed the instructions exactly as the pictures show for Kratos Guardian Shield. However, when equipped but not being used, it still shows on the back instead of the arm. If I am using it, like in battle to defend, it show on the arm. I do have XP32 configured in MCM and Simple Dual Sheath. Is there more I need to do?
Download the file for the physics system you are currently using. If you use IED for physics, download the IED file and apply the preset. If CBPC, then download the CBPC file.

IED
IED Extra Skeleton Node (This mod)
Weapon Styles - DrawSheathe Animations for IDE
You can use the new node by going go View>Gear nodes, with placement selected.
Did you find it?
Is running Nemesis necessary for this?
Nvm, I found it, thank you for the help!
Tunrs out I am just incredibly thick in the head and didn't download the main file (I thought I had).
are any of these reverse grip left hand friendly?

Mod is not essential to my gameplay, so I'm moving on and not investigating any further.
Just posting in case someone else experiences CTDs or mod-owner wants to review.
There's probably something wrong with your RaceMenu setup. I also use this with a big mod list, and also with RaceMenu and never got this crash.
Also, I really love your work.

Setup: https://ibb.co/jyLKb1V
Are you using exactly the shield configured there?
Make sure to use the latest version of the mod (1.4). Maybe the older version is still being used.
Thank you very much!
If you use IED for physics, download the IED file and apply the preset.
If CBPC, then download the CBPC file.
