Last time you told to me, that you are retired, but it looks like you are still quite active. The Thieves Guild Door Never Closes by PatchesTheClown was not updated for AE and it doesnt work. Maybe you can make it never closing for AE? like Dwemer Gates?
Not badmouthing, not about the mod (AFAIK, it could well be the mother of all mods), not a joke -- just slightly amused by the fancy adjective in a sewer-rat context.
It's called "Opulent" because it makes it so that as you upgrade the Guild it becomes less and less sewer-rat and more respectable until it makes it look like the HQ of an actually successful Guild rather than....a sewer-rat hovel that it stays throughout base Skyrim.

Is it? "The secret passage opens when a member approaches" means that the secret passage (the animated coffin you see in the picture) opens when a member (of the Guild, not any member) approaches (gets near it.) "and closes... guess when?" means that the aforementioned passage closes when said member (of the Guild!) does the opposite -- is it really such a hard (oops!) guess?
Given that the description includes a reference to Schlongs of Skyrim, and uses the term "member", context may make people think that it means that the mod allows an erect SoS penis to push the button.

If you get stuck on the stairs, walking instead of running usually helps.
Placing a suitable collision marker might also do the trick.
