Sadly, seems like this affects enemies that use shouts as well. The ebony warrior spammed unrelenting force on me, keeping me in infinite ragdoll mode till I died lol.
The ebony warrior is meant to be like the final boss of the game, so expect him to be able to shout multiple times, kinda like how Ulfric Stormcloak can. This mod should NOT affect any enemies. I never tested it with the Ebony Warrior, but if his shout comes from the same script as the players, then it might. Maybe try disable this mod and fight the Ebony Warrior again, best of luck.
Thanks for the reply! Yep, looks like the Ebony warrior might get it from the same script. Definitely had way less shouts after disabling. It's all good though, eventually defeated him with the mod on, made it a bit more realistic and fun.
Hello, does this work with the ordinator perk overhaul mod? theres a perk in the speech skill tree that basically makes it so that everytime u shout, u have a 50% chance of making the shout cd go down to 3 sec.
The BIG difference is that Mod using scripts and the MCM menu allows you to adjust shouts added by other mods like Thunderchild. I personally followed the S.T.E.P mod guide for an enhanced vanilla experience and just needed the vanilla Shout Cooldowns Reduced to basically nothing, so I made my own mod. It's simple and straight to the point, just install and forget about it.
Yes you can xedit this mod however you like. Not sure about compatibility with Mid Air Shouts . You'll need to test this yourself. If it is NOT compatible, please let us know!
Very true, but console commands do not remain active, you need to input them each time you start the game! That's no fun. My bubble remains unburst, thx for stopping by
It's ok, I have a particularly thick bubble. And yes, the game being over a decade old, i'm aware of the console commands. Have had to use them to progress a broken quest or spawn in a few more septims to buy that item I could have just spawned in, etc. That's what makes this game so awesome, be it Mods or console commands, the ability to change/alter the gameplay, fix issues yourself or just make things ridiculous, is very cool. Past few day however, i've been playing around with the creation kit and only just learnt how to make these simple mods. Releasing my inner nerd, going in and making little changes here and there and then seeing what it looks like in game, has been most enjoyable, kinda feel like a hacker from Mr Robot. Knowledge is power and the beautiful thing about this community, is we like to share our power, so thank you for your comment, it might help someone that does not know about console commands. Have a great day
Also, thinking back, that command can only multiply the shout cooldowns, whereas this mod sets them to 3 seconds
So with the command, you could have clear skies at something like 0.1 second, while stormcall is at like 5 seconds. So your way of doing it is a bit more consistent. And you won't have to put it in new savegames either
And yeah, just making those small tweaks is great. Hope you stick around and make even more mods 👍

Your problem must be linked to something else.
Player.setav shoutrecoverymult X (X is the multiplier. 1 is vanilla, 0.5 is half cooldowns, etc)
Plus it'll affect all shouts, not just vanilla ones, nor does it need to be patched for mods

sorry...
I really didn't mean for this to sound rude or anything. Just thought you should know about it
