    Update from v1.5 to v1.6...

    * Implemented the "Warmer in Combat" mechanic (your warmth rating is now 200 points higher when in combat).
(same mechanic used in this mod...
    Warmer in Combat
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/99436
... so you do not need the Warmer in Combat mod if using v1.6+ of "My Survival Mode")

    * Tweaked terminology on campfire building menu (you will "Tend" the fire instead of "Use", "Skills" is now "Survival Skills", etc)

    * Small tweaks to upper left corner body temp update messages.

    Update from v1.4 to v1.5...

    * Created an "ESL Flagged" version.

    * No more edits to Player "Prisoner" [NPC_:00000007] (this will ensure no more conflicts with other mods and/or other complications that arise from editing this record)

    * Added "Cooked Boar Meat" to heavy foods list to be recognized properly.

    * Added "Ash Hopper Leg" to raw foods list to be recognized properly.

    * Added "Ash Yam" to light foods list to be recognized properly.

    * Added "Garlic Honey (medicinal)" to light foods list to be recognized properly.

    * Added Hot steaming dwemer pipe to list of objects to warm up at.

    * You now warm up more SLOWLY at heat sources (more realistic).

    * You now get colder in cold weather a bit slower than last update (I think I went too drastic in 1.4, now pulled back a bit).

    * Max "warmth" (insulation) rating recognized changed from 200 to 400 (so you can put up a fair fight vs the cold if you wear warm apparel).

    * Fixed some top-left popup messages when temperature changes.

    * Starving to death or dying of thirst (health drain) won't kick in if you haven't escaped Helgen yet.

    * Tweaked well-nourished buff/description.

Regarding iNeed...You don't need "extended", just the core iNeed. (I'm not familiar with extended, but it would probably require patches to work with survival mode, regardless of my mod)

Here's what you put in data, from iNeed...
    iNeed - Textures.bsa (4.2 MB)

Oh, this is what I was looking for! Cold rain, cold snow and drinks for the "Survival Mod" of the Creation Club. Harsh demands and uncomfortable conditions kill. There is overeating.

QUESTION: Game AE. How to make “Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul” compatible with the combination “Campfire - Complete Camping System (Supports Skyrim VR)”, “iNeed - Food Water and Sleep”, “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)”? Is there a patch needed and is there one? What is the order in which mods are loaded?

SUGGESTION: "Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul" makes healing with potions and food more difficult, and adds healing bandages. Under these circumstances, the healing bonfire in your mod looks like a cheat. The ability to disable this feature would be a good option. And raising the level only after sleep is also a good feature. Intriguing with anticipation.

Thank you for the feedback and questions!

      1) I don't personally have CACO installed and right now don't have time to dive in to working compatibility out for other mods (though I may at some point). Anyone who wants to take on testing and patch-making for that I offer wide open permissions to do so.

      2) As far as the request for no healing at your bonfire, that should be pretty easy, I'll work on that right now. Will reply back (or edit response) when done...
EDIT - New files have been added in OPTIONAL files!
(note- if updating from the version where there IS healing by fire to the "no heal by fire version" during an existing playthrough, the effect may remain until you start a new playthrough)

      Enjoy!

      Thank you!

It turned out that the current version of “Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul” for AE has not yet been released.

I looked for mentions of incompatibilities.

Thus, the compatibility of leveled lists (are leveled lists formID lists?), campfire recipes, dividing food and components into portions is not clear (although there are two switches), new portioned foods maybe will not have satiety in “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)". It is not clear how “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)” will affect the patch scripts for “iNeed - Food Water and Sleep”. New recipes of food “My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)" seem to be able to work without a patch (except for the situation with switches). I'll post a mention of this in the "Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul" and "kryptopyr's Patch Hub" threads.

Your mod is very convenient. There is no need to disable the “Survival Mod” of the Creation Club and instead install “Frostfall” or something similar (other mods usually, on the contrary, make survival easier, this is bad). It is convenient to supplement the game with increased cold and thirst. Therefore, there is no need to redo the entire list of mods. Therefore your mod seems promising. But without compatibility with huge combines like "Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul", people will refuse it.

I will quote texts indicating the alleged incompatibility:

      "Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul":
      - The «Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul» does not work with the version «The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Anniversary Edition (GOG) 1.6.1179.0.8 (SKSE64 2.2.6 rel 72)» yet.
      - Complete Alchemy & Cooking Overhaul should be loaded after any mods that modify the vanilla ingredients or alchemy effects.
      - This mod adds a massive number of new food items that you can harvest, purchase, plant or create. Many of the alchemy ingredients also double as new food items and are used as components in cooking recipes.
      - All cooking recipes have been reworked. ... This also means that in some cases one recipe will create multiple items.
      - The food you cook will be more valuable (and weigh less) than the sum of the raw ingredients used to produce it.
      - Ingredient portions.  Salt, flour, wine, and other ingredients are now used in smaller amounts. Sacks of flour are automatically divided into 20 cups of flour, salt piles into 10 pinches of salt, etc.
      - Portion Control and Serving Sizes.  Large foods and drinks are now automatically divided into smaller servings when you consume them. Those massive cuts of meat are now treated like four steaks or servings. A bottle of wine is four drinks. A wheel of cheese is cut into individual wedges, and a loaf of bread is eaten as two half-loafs.
      - Weight and price adjustments.  The values and weights for all food items have been adjusted to reflect their relative size and apparent weight.
      - Compatibility page https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19924/?tab=forum&topic_id=6988461
      - Compatibility patches are in the Patch Hub: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19518?tab=files
      - Mods that change the vanilla food items or add new food items may introduce inconsistencies, but other than the possible imbalances, they are probably okay to use with CACO.
      - CACO converts some non-ingredient vanilla items into alchemy ingredients and vise-versa. If other mods use the vanilla version of these items in a crafting recipe or as quest requirement, then you will need to convert the CACO item back into it's vanilla equivalent. I have provided an easy way for you to do this from within CACO's MCM. You can swap between vanilla & CACO items at any time.
      - Mods that add or change cooking recipes may introduce inconsistencies. If cooking recipes use Salt Pile, Sack of Flour, or Wine, then you can still create those recipes by enabling the "Recombine Cooking Portions" option in CACO's Mod Configuration Menu.
      - If you are using other mods that edit leveled lists, then you may need to create a Bashed Patch to merge the changes to leveled lists
      - Fully Compatible (no patch needed): Campfire - campfire recipes will automatically adjust for consistency with CACO. New campfire recipes have been added.
      - Partially Compatible: iNeed - Load CACO after iNeed, and use the modified script available here (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19518, https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19518?tab=files, «iNeed __ CACO», Date uploaded, 15 Dec 2020, 1:34AM, 40KB, Version, 1.1, Not required with "iNeed - Continued". There is no plugin included in this patch, just a pair of modified scripts. Allow these modified scripts to overwrite iNeed's original scripts. Thank you to fiske and Hazado for their help with these fixes). («iNeed - Food Water and Sleep» 1.83, Original upload 28 October 2016 4:41PM, Last updated 15 October 2017 12:13AM).
If using iNeed - Extended, choose the "No Food/Recipe Changes" version.  It is also recommended that you disable iNeed's option to alter the weight of food, as this can conflict with the changes made by CACO and result in some odd weight values. Also, iNeed's degradation system isn't recognized by CACO's food portion system, which results in some slight inconsistencies. For example, if you eat a loaf of bread which is considered stale by iNeed, the second half of the loaf is returned to your inventory as if it were a fresh piece of bread.

"My Survival Mode AE (esl flagged)":
      - *The hunger system from Ineed has been converted to a category called "nourishment".
      - *The thirst system from Ineed is kept pretty much intact the way it comes from the original mod, other than the fact that I have integrated the same type of health drain by the second if you become extremely dehydrated from neglecting to drink.
      - Also the amount of hunger points provided by the different foods has been completely changed, now the smallest amount of hunger points for the smallest foods is 10 points (as opposed to 2 points), and the largest is 120 points (as opposed to 380).
      - *I've added a few of my own custom "ingestibles"
      - Tweaked (and added a bunch more) Campfire recipes to convert random wooden objects into kindling for fires.
      - *Made it so that you can still make a large fire without large wood (AKA, with kindling) if you have enough of it.
      - *Added creation Club foods to the formID lists from iNeed so that these foods will be properly recognized.
      - * Added "Cooked Boar Meat" to heavy foods list to be recognized properly.
      - * Added "Ash Hopper Leg" to raw foods list to be recognized properly.
      - * Added "Ash Yam" to light foods list to be recognized properly.
      - * Added "Garlic Honey (medicinal)" to light foods list to be recognized properly.

Is this compatible with Survival Mode Improved - SKSE? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/78244 ?

I don't have that mod so i couldn't say for sure. I've had a few people ask me, but i don't know if anyone's actually tried it. Would love for someone to report back if they do. (In the meantime, i may just download it just to skim the records for obvious conflicts... If so I'll report back as well!)

Okay, looking in SSEEdit...I'm guessing it would work out if you...
      1) Load My Survival Mode AFTER Survival Mode Improved
      2) Make patch for FormID List Survival_WarmUpObjectsList [FLST:FE0008AA]

Actually, instead of #2, I've made a version (look in OPTIONAL files)
that has this patch built in! (both esp or esl flagged options)

Let me know if you try it and how it goes!

You're very welcome, and thank you for reminding me because it completely skipped my mind to update the optional files to match v1.6, so, while I was at it, I also tweaked the main files to match up with tweaks I've made to my own game in the last few months, just tiny little tweaks here and there, so, I've now updated all four files, both main files, and both optional files, which are all now "version 1.7".
      Enjoy!

I never play as a vampire so i don't know how that works, but if they are normally immune to cold, then they still should be. I've made the cold more harsh, yes, but haven't messed with anyone's immunities or resistances.
      Hope that helps.

Added v1.5c in OPTIONAL files. Intended to be compatible with "Survival Mode Improved" , as it patches the warm up objects FormID list. No promises of how well it will blend, possibly some inconsistency/weirdness with hunger rates and such? It really needs to be live tested to see how it goes... But I don't use SMI... so it's up to whoever would like to be the guinea pigs, and feel free to report back with any findings!

Hi! Thank you for a very interesting mod. One question, are we supposed to turn on Survival mode when promped? Doing so made the food not count, even if i ate 50 cheese and 20 apples. So i was starving to death while eating. Have I missed something?

Is your nourishment category working correctly? But not the hunger? If so, try temporarily turning off survival mode. And then turning it back on, just to see if survival mode was glitched for some reason. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure it has to be a mod conflict. Keep me up to date so we can figure it out.

I tried to turn SM off and on, I tried to disable your mod and make a clean save and turned everything on again but I can't still benefit from eating. My stats are Hunger -starving to death, Nourishment says well fed.

The only mod I've got regarding food is iNeed and maybe Hunterborn?

So if I understand correctly, even without my mod, your food/hunger mechanics on your game are not working properly with survival mode on. Right? Have you played with survival mode on before? (Are you able to post a list of your load order? Or confirm whether you have any mods that make overrides to food records?)

Another troubleshooting method would be to disable all mods besides the requirements, to confirm whether it's working with just my mod, and then slowly re-enable the mods from the top, to see where the problem comes in.

Alright! My SM isn't working at all with iNeed It seems. so the problem is not your mod. There might be other mods involved, I've got almost 400 of them so I won't bother to run through them all to find out. I never use SM because I think it's not good enough, so that's why I thought your mod would change that.

My mod may actually still be okay for you, don't quote me on this but I believe if you just turn survival mode off most of my mod will still work. I haven't tested it that way, but off the top of my head I can't think of any major problems, you would just not see the hunger category at all, but you would see the nourishment category so you could just think of that as hunger. Try it and let me know, if you want!

Address library. (we have close to 150 mod load order, most require skse, zero require address library. It's actually been a fun challenge to put together a nicely modded game for him without that requirement. I also had to replace textures with low res ones, so the game won't go in slo mo... But, it works, and he loves the game :-) )
