"Scilla bifolia, the two-leaf squill, is a tiny and delicate-looking flower native to the Jerralls. Their appearance belies their hardy nature, often blooming before snowmelt. All parts of the plant are mildly toxic to man and mer, but they are occasionally used to induce vomitting after consuming more lethal poisons. An early bloomtime and strong resistance to pests make it a garden favorite, which has allowed this squill to spread far beyond its native range. It is now common throughout Skyrim and Wrothgar."
-Narrelia Caro, Botanist

Scilla bifolia is found in most alpine environments of Europe and Russia, although exactly where it's native was hard to discern. It's tiny, but can cover massive patches of ground so densely little else grows, so it's a popular groundcover in gardens. It's also an asparagus. Don't eat it though!

I learned how to paint for Skyrim's tree anim shader while working on this mod (...I think. My laptop doesn't actually play the animations, just a random still frame), but by the time I figured it out I really didn't want to go back and try to paint the finished models, or re-piece them together after painting the original "building blocks." To make up for this, I made snowy variants this time! If you want the snow variants you'll need to install Cathedral 3D Mountain Flowers for its esp, and then load this mod after. Any patch intended for Dr.Jacopo's mod will work for my models as well, including wSkeever's Base Object Swapper version. If you also use Chamerion - 3D Purple Mountain Flowers, this has the unintentional but possibly useful side effect of swapping out Chamerion's model in snowy locations for Dr.Jacopo's frosty purple columbines, so you can have both!

Performance Impact: Moderate-to-light. The triangle counts are a little high for the model's size, given its complex shape. I didn't notice performance loss in testing on my PC, so most users should be fine, especially if you already use high-poly replacers.

Like Primula, the height difference between the vanilla plant and Scilla results in clipping, visible in the screenshots. You will not have floating plants this time, though - I elongated the stems beneath the ground.

Q: How do they look with grass mods?
A: Practically invisible! Scilla bifolia only grows to be about four inches tall. You'll have to scour the ground for these itty-bitties in the wild, but plenty can be seen along the roads.  All screenshots feature vanilla grass.

Q: ENB? Reshade?
A: All screenshots are taken with Reality - A Performance Reshade.

Q: Other mods in screenshots?
A: Cathedral Everything, Happy Little Trees, and Chamerion (link above).
