About this mod

Makes a tiny tweak to Adamant's Light Armour and One Handed trees to move Fighter's Stance (the vanilla title, titled Endurance under Adamant) back to One Handed (like it is in vanilla, from Light Armour in Adamant), and restore vanilla's Deft Movement perk for Light Armour.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Vanilla has a perk called "Fighter's Stance" in the One Handed perk tree that reduces the cost of power attacks by 25%. Adamant creates a new version named  Endurance, and places in in the Light Armour perk tree. Fighter's Stance, in the One Handed tree, is replaced by "Overrun" which adds a damage bonus to enemies power attacking/drawing a bow, etc.

The Problem
  • I dislike a one handed perk being moved over to light armour. To me it doesn't make much sense that a perk that is designed for one handed characters is now locked behind light armour, when it should be available for all one handed characters regardless of what type of armour/clothing you are wearing.
  • "Overrun" has a mechanic really similar to Attacks of Opportunity. This mechanic is added by other combat mods (such as Smilidon or Wildcat), or as a standalone mod utilizing SPID. Alternative mods such as these also allow the mechanic to affect NPCs as well, while Adamant is player-restricted. IMO I prefer to use an alternative mod if I wish to introduce this mechanic to the game.

The Solution

Overrun happened to exactly overwrite Fighter's Stance. I simply overwrote Overrun back with the vanilla Fighter's Stance (with some modifications to work in Adamant's new tree). Fighter's Stance now completely replaces Overrun.

But what about Endurance?

Having Endurance in the perk tree for Light Armour would be redundant. As such, I've made the following changes to the Light Armour tree:

  •  "Second Wind" originally overwrote vanilla's "Deft Movement". I used a similar technique to restore Deft Movement to the tree by overwriting Second Wind. (Requires Custom Fitted, 100)
  • "Endurance" has now been replaced by a copied version of Second Wind. (Requires Adrenaline, 80)

I replaced the perks this way so that it most aligned with vanilla's original IDs for perks.

In Summary

In case the description was confusing, basically Fighter's Stance has been restored in One Handed, Deft Movement restored in Light Armour, and all Adamant perks except for Overrun are still intact.

I have also made the needed edits to make the perk tree constellation still resemble Adamant's shape, and (where applicable) all perks follow Adamant's logic of only needing 3 pieces of light armour to be worn.

Optional Addon
I've added an extra file that just makes it so perks like Athletics and Adrenaline which increase your movement speed only apply in combat. I felt like it trivialized exploring a bit too much so now the perks are combat only. Doesn't actually require the main file, just a small option I made by adding a combat condition to the spell effects for these perks.

Compatibility
This was made for 5.7.8 of Adamant. If Adamant is significantly updated (ie., either Light Armour or One Handed trees are significantly restructured), this mod may need to be updated as well. In the event that I get behind on updates, feel free to modify this mod to fit a new version of Adamant.

This mod only alters 3 perks in Adamant: Endurance, Second Wind, and Overrun.

This mod also alters the AV tree for Light Armour (not for One Handed) to properly place/connect the perks, this would be the largest source of incompatibility if Adamant is updated.
