ATTENTION - UNSAFE TRACKS FOR YOUTUBE FOUND ON THE LIST
After usage on Youtube recently we found several tracks that were flagged by copyright even if when were considered safe during testing. We're taking them out in the next 48h and will proceed with testing other tracks in the mod. We're sorry for the inconveniece and encourage any user to report unsafe tracks here in the posts. This is somewhat xpected as scummy people change the rules mid-game (and we found even fake claims by companies that DO NOT represent the artist they are claiming the music from) but such is the unfair game of copyright on Youtube. They should be ok to stream on Twitch, but I reccomend not expecting monetization on Youtube with VODs made on v2.2 - v3 will have more than 12 tracks removed. Artists removed include Seth Imming, Jeremy Soule, Anuch, Luca Francini and Florews.
Again, I'm sorry for that but the game is unfair like this.
PROGRESS SO FAR
Thanks for the support and feedback. I am still very inexperienced in modding and I am willing and excited to test, tinker and learn my way into any fixing needed.
HOW TO REPORT UNSAFE TRACKS
As of now, I took down 2 tracks that triggered copyright claims. All music used in this mod is from either the ENVATO ELEMENTS full subscription or Youtube Audio Library. They *should* be all safe but s#*! can go down, from fake copyright claims by indian scammers on Youtube to artists breaking partnership contracts with the platforms.
If you get any copyright claim I can't really help you contest it, but I can take the track down so it doens't affect you or other players anymore. When reporting an unsafe track please provide a link to the claimed footage, or if not possible, what conditions were you on when the track played (Town, Exploring by night, fighting a dragon) so we can narrow the list down to just a few possible culprits. Without context it will be insanely har to comb through 111 files to find the one getting claimed.
YES, YSFRAMOR CURRENTLY HOSTS 111 TRACKS
Some are variations of other tracks, like a 60s version of an otherwise 2 and a half minutes song. Most are completely instrumental while some have unintelligible vocals.
FUTURE PLANS
Right now we're testing the tracks, seeing if anything else needs adjustment and still looking for unsafe music in the list (we can never be too sure). Next step will be to add more music in tune with Jeremy Soule's style for the main areas and get some darker/nightmarish tunes to vampire lists. After this, I may get to try adding variations for dunmer, redguard, druid or samurai characters with a "touch of homeland"feeling by adding a few random tracks in especific explorations playlists...
Hi! thanks for the idea. Since the playlist is built around Personalized Music - which seems a bit outdated from the info I gathered in the last 48h - I need to make sure the original author allows that kind of conversion so I can get around to find out how to sort it.
Honestly I'm a video editor with scant experience in modding, but I'll look into it. Cant'promise though.
Let's just say I feel so bad about this right now because I uploaded one of my own streams yesterday and even tracks that we've tested as safe were flagged, apparently all belonging to this same artist. I'm really sorry for this and I took these all out for v3, I'll replace them when possible and absolutely avoid anything made by Seth.
v3 is up with 25 tracks removed... Honestly f*ck Youtube Content ID. Just as further proof of how effed up is this whole thing, this track down here on this video was not flagged during testing, and still is just fine right here even being the center element of the video. But lo and behold, it was flagged on my VOD yesterday.
I'm royally pissed at YT and Envato right now, and I'm sorry for this inconvenience. Everything on Taverns, Towns, caves and Daylight exploring should be safe now, but I'm testing further. For v4 I'll use another music provider entirely.
Not a big deal, I'm not making any money off of my stream anyway, I'm just trying to help you get this mod to a point where we have a music mod that doesn't trigger the dark chaos YouTube copyright gods.
By the way, this last stream went for over one hour on version 2.2 of your mod, and that was the only trigger.
Sorry for the late reply and yes, I got this exact one too. Hopefully I purged it of v3 but apparently I placed some tracks in more than one playlist, I'll keep investigating over the weekend. We might soon get to a safe point for Youtube and then I can finally start compiling new tracks from Kevin McLeod and other 100% safe sources for v4 by next week.
first of all thanks for reporting it and hope you got this sorted. Form 43 means the mod was originally written for LE, which the original Personalized music was. Using this one mod (PM) was the most effective and safe way at my disposal to do this while still making it easy for users to add their own music if they have any that is safe.
I used Personalized Music for months now on SE 1.5.97 and it gave me exact zero CTDs. If I can find anyone who ghelps me port it over to Form 44 I'll gladly do it but in the meantime the mod should be safe to use. That said, save early, save often and never uninstall mods mid-run. :)
Thank you so much! With your support and warning I managed to sort it out on CK. Thanks again and please, if you see any new problems i"ll be glad to know about it.
Not a problem. I actually do appreciate this mod because I stream as well and I've had to turn down my music volume or risk YouTube flagging my videos for copyright.
Naturally, I also stream on Twitch and they haven't had any issues.
This mod really helps me to have more than just the five tracks that Skyrim has while still avoiding that issue.
While I understand some people are able to run Form43 plugins without issues, you can't assume that would be the case for everyone else considering everyone's modlists are going to be completely different. AFAIK there's no proper documentation nor actual testing showing exactly what the implications of using Form43 on SE are. Simple rule of thumb: SE engine was designed around Form44, every single official SE plugin is Form44, so it makes sense to always use Form44. Better safe than sorry.
All that aside, thanks for sharing! Been thinking about streaming and this certainly will be useful.
Tested a bunch already, nd even found one tht triggered Content ID and removed it in v2.1 If you find ANY track unsafe for either Twitch or Youtube, please let me know so I can remove and possibly replace it.
I have not yet rated the music (although I like the style in the description). I already like the idea itself, endorsed and also a very good design of the mod page

EDIT : I would like a version without ESP. It's much more compatible....

We don't run Form 43 plugins on SE anymore. This has been the rule for years now.

I'll now check all my mods to make sure none are running on Form 43.
Thank you again.
